Wondfo hpt users and rule breakers UPDATE

Okay ladies, and I'm looking at you @KC1212 and @jen071407, I know there are some ladies here that break the rules and inspect your pee sticks well after when you're supposed to. I know blue dye tests and dollar tree tests are bad about evaps but how about wondfos? Also (and I feel like an idiot for even asking this) but after I deemed my test negative this morning, I tried to move the test over to a piece of tp to let it "cure" for a while while I went back to bed, and I dropped it a few inches on the counter wrong side down which looked like it brought the dye back to the surface. That'll f up a pee stick, right? I feel like such a newbie...

    Lol I love that @kc1212 and I have turned into the board's poas crazies :)
    I have gotten evaps on the Wondfos before. Best bet is to have the final say during the time frame, anything after that is just for funsies 8-}

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Not crazies, experts! :) and thanks for the response, lady. I'm about 99% sure I have an evap, but this is the first time I've had one and find them kind of fun. Since I don't have my hopes up that is. It's been so stinking long since I've seen anything so this is a nice change of pace

    Okay- I've never used wondfos. I've used Internet cheapies that are in that little plastic cassette and you have to add little drops of pee with a plastic dropper...

    Any-hoo all the times that I was actually not pregnant my tests have always been negative both within the time frame and stayed negative hours later.

    My "evaps" have always been faint positives that appear 3+ hours later.

    I don't know that dropping it would matter or not :-?

    Now you have me in suspense and I'm begging you to test again and invest in a FRER!!

    I'm a rule breaking, Wondfo using POAS aholic. I've gotten two positives and no evaps using Wondfo at 10-11 dpo. I've never gotten a positive in the normal time range. I look 10-20 minutes then I throw it away. Then I dig through the trash later to see if I was imagining things. Then I pee on another stick that night to see. And squint, rotate, do a voodoo dance and finally enlist Dh for a second opinion.

    And dh sees the line too but he said he doesn't think it means anything because the line is too light. Seems to be a standard dh response. Definite no doubt about whether it's there but I have no clue if it's pink.

    Wondfos are full of evaps, but you take the good with the bad since they are like 8 cents each. I'm currently using the wondfos to test down my HCG, as long as you get some form of line in 5mins it's good, anything outside of that time frame is an evap on a wondfo - also note* these are not NEARLY as sensitive as the dollar tree HPTs, these cheapies are on par with FRER and will show a line with HCG over 6 (same as FR) the wondfos (lately, because the batches matter, the old ones used to be pretty sensitive) aren't showing anything under 25.



    So the moral is, if you think there might be something cooking, go get a bunch of dollar tree tests!!

    Haha sorry. Apparently my lines take longer than a pizza to show up though. Took another Wondfo while I waited for dh and it again turned into an evap (super squinted this time) and the FRER is stark white in the test window. Give it an hour and maybe it will have a line too since it's my day for evaps it seems. If only yesterday's Wondfo from the trash had an evap I wouldn't have to sit here wondering

    Omfg!!!! I've never had a FRER evap! EVER.


    OMG omg omg. Ok...I found this article once that was talking about pregnancy tests and sensitives,ect. and it said that their findings were that sometimes the positives take longer than the instructions say to develop. I should have bookmarked it!

    Well dh doesn't see it on the free so it could be line-eyes. The frer came with a digi that I can try tomorrow maybe. I think I just need to settle down and stop peeing on things because I'm starting to feel like a crazy person with the number if times I've inspected those pee sticks

    @cheesypeas I want this to be it for you so bad! You will be in my t&p,hon. Enjoy your Sunday but if it were me, I would keep testing until I got AF or a solid positive because those "evaps" seem fishy to me.

    Good luck Cheesy, IME with the FRs even if you have a very low level HCG you should be able to see the line right away- when my HCG was just under 7, the faint line appeared almost instantly, but it didn't get dark at all at that point, it was a super squinter, you had to hold it at angle to really see it LOL 


    I really hope this is it! Try FMU, I hope you get a + on your digi!!!

    Good luck @cheesypeas! I have no experience with Wondfos. I'm scared to buy them with all the bad batches going around. I'm the idiot who buys FRER every month and I am a POAS-aholic. I found them at Walmart for $8/2 pack a couple days ago and am sooooo excited. I think I'm going to get some Dollar Tree tests tomorrow. I'm currently in the 2WW but really want to test out the trigger (medicated cycle.)
    BFP: 5/10/14 after 14 cycles of trying!
    EDD: 1/21/15
    5/12 1st beta: 28
    5/14 2nd beta: 87.5
    5/23: 3rd beta: 4000.6 + saw gestational sac and yolk sac
    5/30: 4th beta: 17,852 + saw fetal pole and heard heartbeat! 127 BPM!
