My boys are 14 months and still in sleep sacks. It seems like they will be outgrowing them soon so I am wondering how to going about making the switch to a regular blanket. The sleep sack has become such a part of their nap and bedtime routine that I am nervous that switching to the blanket will effect their sleep. Of course I am also concerned about them not.staying covered since they move all over their cribs. Any tips on making this switch from those who have been there is greatly appreciated!

As pp mentioned, they are expensive and twice as much when you have two! It's hard to find them used too.

This is what I plan on doing when my DD outgrows hers in a month or so!!!
20 month old DS still uses a sleepsack. Halo XL. We're going to use them as long as he likes wearing them. He uses a blanket at naptimes though, and he's comfortable with that.
