Well, we are finally baptising LO tomorrow (better late than never?) This has been a HUGE dramatic, nasty blow out event with my family due to our godparent selection I've spared you ladies from the detals but in a nutshell. My sister wasn't coming, DH and I spent over an hour with my mom and stepfather last week trying to fix this issue and I am now in therapy so I can figure out how to deal with my family

Anywho - it should be a nice event. I'm really excited for the reception after and just hope everyone behaves..

I also have book club tomorrow night and am hoping to make it. I need a night out after all of this drama.

No plans for Sunday.

QOTW - Probably July. I love the warm weather. IT's never too hot in my world. The days are long. It's my wedding anniversary. It's vacation season at work - it brings a lot to the table!

Good luck @chiwifey and @ccam! Happy Birthday to Sophie!!

I don't have any definite plans yet this weekend. I'm hoping to go to the zoo tomorrow or Sunday, but who knows. We also need to get our taxes done so we don't have to think about it anymore. Today is my third ice day in three weeks, except there's no ice this time. My school district totally jumped the gun and cancelled classes last night, but I get to spend some time with H.

QOTW: June for sure! School is out so I don't have as much to do for work, I get to spend most days with H, and it's warm but not hot (not by Texas standards of hot anyway).

Tomorrow will involve wine - either mourning the loss of it for 9 months or drinking lots of it! I'm hoping to keep myself busy all day waiting for the call. I might test in the am to prepare myself, we'll see. DH was asking if I was going to test today but of course its the one day I don't have tests in the house! Besides that, not too much planned.

QOTW: August!! Lots of birthdays in August - mine, DS, my Dad, my sister and SIL. Plus the days are long and we can spend lots of time outside.

Thanks for the bday shout out for Sophie!! Her birthday party is tomorrow and I am really wishing I had taken today off to prep. Unfortunately I just felt too guilty requesting the day after I worked from home 3 days this week bc she was sick.

QOTW: Here's a second vote for July! Why? Because I was born in July. And because it's summer which means the beach! And we typically vacation in July so that's nice too. But after July is a close second with December. I love Christmas so much!

The even more annoying part - DH and I BATTLED over godparents. I'm talking all out bloodbath. We finally agreed that his family will get it for MOlly and my family will get it whenever we have a second. IT was such a tough decision and I do not appreciate their lack of respect for it. But this is nothing new - my family thinks that everything is about them. They don't understand when I make decisions the first and most important people involved are DH and Molly. They think it should be them. My mother literally asked me "how could you do this to our family?" UGH. it's been a long couple of weeks. Their antics are becoming a big stresser in my marriage though so it's time I figure out how to deal with it.....

@ccam - funny story for you. When I did my IVF - I literally had a night between ER and ET when I broke up with red wine. I picked up a bottle and sat on my couch consuming probably all of it with hopes I was getting my fill for 9 months! (to be clear - I was not on meds other than PIO, and had fully recovered from my ER so drinking was ok - at least I Think

Sorry you didn't get to have such a night but if you are breaking up with it for 9 months tomorrow I promise to drink a few glasses in your honor

I have this weekend off!!! Whoo hoo. Just gonna chill out on Saturday. Probably do some cleaning and what not. Sunday hubby and I are going on date. My cousin and his wife bought us a gift card for a restaurant and some movies passes AND offered to babysit Hannah for us. REALLY looking forward to this! No idea what movie we're seeing or anything yet lol

QOTW: Favourite month, that is a HARD one! Hmm, probably a tie between August and December. August is our anniversary and we almost always go on some form of vacation in August. And December cuz it's Christmas and I love Christmas with every fiber of my being!!!

We finally got deuce's bedding yesterday. So this weekend I would like to go look at paint, furniture, and accessories. And I'm doing a wedding cake next weekend so I need to do some prep and planning work for that. I don't think we have any actual firm plans though. Hopefully I can get some rest and maybe we can all get out to the park both days this weekend.

GL ladies! Happy birthday to Sophie! @JBDamonM, hugs to you. You really get the first prize for difficult families.

We are having a 3-course Peking Duck lunch in Chinatown tomorrow, with my ILs. I don't think my ILs have ever had real Chinese food, let alone Peking Duck, but they agreed to it. It was my MIL's b-day earlier this week so it is a birthday lunch for her. Other than that, probably will go tobogganing with M on Sunday if the weather is decent. And do some baking (trying to make some savory biscuit/muffin type snacks for M... he gave 2 thumbs down on my attempted cheddar cheese crackers).

Well I think DH and LO might be getting sick. We are also getting LO baptized this weekend so my ILs will be here for the 2nd weekend in a row. I am just hoping LO isn't puking tomorrow and the baptism can go ahead and I can get some stuff done around the house. Just finished working 36h in a row so I am also hoping to nap. Happy birthday little Ducky!

@kaf7 - I hope LO feels better. Ironically we were supposed to do this on Jan 18th and postponed it a couple of weeks before for other reasons and it worked out perfectly because LO wound up with a double ear infection that weekend. Also @mdiblasi10 sorry I missed you. FX for a great beta!

Thanks @jbdamonm. There has been no further signs of illness in either one of them so I think DH ate something he shouldn't have and LO had too much pears and plums. I hope yours goes well.
