Anyone else planning on getting backordered Pottery Barn bedding?

I wonder how reliable they are about their backorder estimates. The bedding I really, really want is backordered until April 27th. I am afraid I am going to wait 4 weeks and it get double backordered since the pique set is apparantly so popular. I can't even buy the pieces separately. I noticed alot of their other bedding is backorderd as well. To those who were planning on purchasing it, are you waiting or finding something else?

Why must it be so hard to find themeless boy bedding?

I ordered the Turtle Nursery bedding at PBK last week.  It is on sale and backordered until April 11th.....I am not due until August so there is plenty of time.  My experience with PBK has been that a lot of their sales items are backordered.  I have gotten a few items in the past that were on backorder and they have come in around the date I was originally given if not a little sooner.  Good Luck!

Buying something on back order isn't that big of a deal.  You have almost half of your pregnancy to wait for it.

We ordered our stroller which was backordered for almost 9 weeks - it came in when they said it would - no big deal.

You don't need bedding today - we just have that desire to get things done now.  It isn't going to kill you or anyone else to wait until April to put the bedding on the crib.

I know, I know. But the paint color also needs to match the bedding and we are ready to get started on his room. SIGH. I think I am going to go ahead and buy it and wait it out.

I did look on ebay. Lots of PB bedding but not the light blue pique set.

I just sucked it up and bought it! YAY. Glad it's done. I didn't even buy the set, I bought just the skirt and bumper so I could have it monogrammed (in stately boy looking font, of course AND the skirt isn't on backorder if you buy it separately, so I should get that in soon and be able to buy paint! Win-win

Is every single piece of the bedding collection on backorder?  If not, buy a piece that is available today to match colors.  Or just bring paint chips to your local PBK.

The skirt isn't on backorder if you buy it separately, so I'll get that in a weekish and we can start thinking about paint Oh, and if I were only so lucky to live anywhere remotely near a PBK.

I got the french rose and it said back orderd when I first decided on it and then two weeks later iI was told it was discontinued ugh I ended up getting the whole set on ebay brand new for less than half of what I would have paid pottery barn can be so frustrating about keeping things in stock I would not bet on them actuley getting the bedding to you when they originally tell you they are!
