Night shifters/insomniacs

I always bring a bunch of snacks with me when I work 11p-7a, but here it is only 125 and all I have left is my oatmeal. I don't think I packed enough :( Will someone bring me Krispy Kream?

    Hello, fellow insomniac here. I also woke up to pee and can't get back to sleep. My body only lets me sleep in 4 hour stretches, maybe in preparation for a newborn schedule?! My 3yo will be up in about 2-3 hrs so tomorrow's gonna suck with DH in class. I'll probably let her "help" me sort through the baby clothes. If she's occupied she stays out of trouble and all I can manage these days is a sitting activity.

    I was up until 3:30 here with heartburn and then woke up at 7:30 and then again at 9:30.  I should mention we're 6 hours ahead of EST and my baby shower that I'm not looking forward to is today  (:|

    I just wish I had a Krispy Kreme near us. I haven't had a fresh KK in years!! I didn't wake up until 445 this morning and i was happy with that haha. Yesterday it was 2:30a

    @akpuffin, what time is the shower? Maybe you can sneak in a nap. I would.

    @bingbongsmomma, I hope it is our bodies getting ready for baby. I just hope baby goes right back to sleep after feeding when the time comes, or else it's going to be a rough day for everyone.

    @mamamia866 The shower is at 1pm and it's already 11:20 so with a shower and hair/makeup a nap might have to wait until after.  Boo.

    I've been having minor contractions keep me awake all night :/ They're not strong or regular enough to go into L and D, just painful enough to prevent me from falling asleep.

    But maybe a trip to Krispy Kreme would help!

    Speaking of donuts, I have a box of entenmans in the kitchen. Not as good as KK but oh well
