FFFC: After all the Edible Arrangement talk on here I bought and sent myself an Edible Arrangement.
FFFC2: I may have pointed a FB acquaintance of mine to TB in hopes of her spewing her drama on here (read: it's twins for baby daddy #3, this would be kid 3 & 4 for both of them, so 6 kids total.) or asking a dumb question just for my own amusement.
By "good" I just meant I actually have one.

Now I totally want to send myself an Edible Arrangement! That sounds amazing right now.
1) we're getting our bathroom re-done in 4 weeks, so I've stopped caring about our current one. Just a quick courtesy clean. No scrubbing thanks. Who cares about lime scale when it's getting ripped out?
2) I think ted danson is still hot

I found out just before Christmas that I have an older half brother that I never knew about. My younger sister (who is not speaking to me for other, unknown reasons) found this out at the same time. My father practically begged us not to contact him; as far as I know, my sister decided she didn't want anything to do with him.
My FFFC is that I made contact with him last week, and we're going to get coffee next Thursday. I can't decide if I should feel bad about this or not.
I'll try to come up with a good one later.
For now: I love my Pandora bracelet. And I think some of the jewelry with chocolate diamonds is pretty.
I have a knock-off Pandora bracelet that I love. It's by Bella Perlina and I bought it on a cruise for $30.
This is sort of a FFFC: the jewelery I've gotten the most compliments on over the last few years have actually been pieces I bought for relatively cheap on cruises. They're not actually cheap (one of the earrings/necklace sets is Swarovski) but I didn't pay anything near retail for them. I do not tell people this, just let them think what they want.
I have a new FFFC, hot off the press. I told my colleagues i was going to the warehouse to check some stock. I was really going there to fart. A lot. I'm still there.
Still farting.

FFFC - I just wolfed down breakfast #3 and followed it with a 200 cal cup of hot chocolate. This baby must be having a growth spurt. Right? Right?? Othewise, I'm just a fatass. (Most likely it's the latter).
It actually is right! What to Expect (yeah, yeah, I know, but it cost me $1.90 so I'm still reading it) says that between 23 and 27 weeks, the baby doubles its body weight. Enjoy all of the breakfasts.
I plan on sleeping away the vast majority of today. My sleep cycles are totally reversed right now so 10am feels like bed time.
And I insisted DH pay the extra 6.99$ shipping to get my replacement plastic straws for my water jug here on Saturday rather than Tuesday. My first straw grew mold earlier this week and its been a struggle to get my water in without my jug
Friends for 17 years. Married 10. TTC since Jan 2009.
2012: Lost "Peanut" at 17weeks to PTL/IC.
2013: IVF#3/FET#4 Elisabeth CJ born April 30, 2014 Cerclage, P17, and 3 months of bed rest brought us our Rainbow.
I seriously need to cut back on the sweets. I literally said to DH "Can you bring me my metformin pill and some chocolate?" His response: "Sure, but you do know they don't cancel each other out, right?" I didn't even think about how that sounded. Not that I can't eat any sweets, but my sweet tooth is out of control... which I say as I eat a giant Reese's Valentine heart that my MIL gave me. I already passed my glucose test, so bring on the chocolate, right?
I was that mom at Walmart this morning. You know the one, ratty sweats, kid wasn't wearing shoes (I did put socks in him), and we went to the McDonalds right inside the door first to get pancakes. We ate pancakes while we shopped. IDGAF!
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
My FFFC- My students have been harassing me to update my photo wall in my classroom for the last year. I finally printed some pictures this week, not because they asked me and not because we have an accreditation visit coming up and I need to update my classroom, but because I needed an excuse to go to Target to purchase Cookie Dough Oreos.

Yup! One of my running buddies is and L and D nurse and she said this is a big growth spurt!
Not sure this is a confession, per se, but the ring thread got me thinking--I rarely wear my engagement ring. There is nothing wrong with it--it is a pretty standard princess-cut stone with pave diamonds on the side--but I just don't wear it. I do wear my wedding band on weekdays--it 4mm hammered silver band that is very simple. DH has a matching 6mm band and he loves his. We got them both on Etsy for $50! DH hated all the "real" rings he tried on at jewelers because they were "too heavy" and this one is super light. I often think I should buy him a couple extra since he hunts and fishes and has almost lost his ring a number of times.
My other confession: my parents are taking us to Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester after my 3d/4d ultrasound tomorrow. I am sitting at my desk salivating over the menu instead of doing work.

This is me lately! I can't get enough sugar apparently. And I have my glucose test in two weeks ahh.

random "walks" to isolated corners for no particular reason...
I've resolved to eat healthier but only for the purpose of passing my glucose test and then plan to go back to my usually carb-filled meals and snacks.

We're in the middle of a bathroom reno and I use it as an excuse to not clean most of my main floor. Why sweep and dust the rooms NEAR the reno area? They are just going to get tile bits and dust on them anyway.
FFC #1: Tonight is our 5th anniversary. I'm seriously looking forward to a romantic night out with DH, but have not given any thought to an outfit. Time is running out and we're going to a fancy restaurant...I really don't have much fancy maternity wear. Probably should've worried about this sooner.
FFC #2: Aside from buying some clothes, I've done absolutely nothing to prepare for DS. I'm not even freaking out about this one bit, which is pretty shocking for me because I'm never, and I do mean never, this laid back. With DD, I had every single last detail perfectly planned out well in advance. This time around, I'm just planning to have DH setup the bassinet in our bedroom and kind of just take things from there. Not worrying and planning out every single detail for DS is actually kind of liberating!
My FFFC: DH just returned from a business trip. He was gone 3 days 2 nights and I missed him like crazy, but I slept better in those 2 nights than I have in a long time because I could spread out with my 5 pillows and adjust and it was amazing! I slept like crap last night and wished I could kick his snoring butt to the couch and just have the puppies to snuggle with.

I was just thinking about this earlier today.. I have literally not done anything either. Today is the first day I am starting to kind of realize that I have 13 weeks left, give or take, so I should probably start to do something. So I made a list of everything that I need to get done before she comes. That counts as doing something, right?

My MWs told me this too, along with our blood volume doubling means jumps in weight during this time period. Which is good because I've been putting on like 2lbs/week for the last month.
Last night I woke up around midnight to go to the bathroom. I also happened to use the opportunity to pass some much needed gas. I guess DH woke up right after me, went to the bathroom and shortly after started checking around for "sewage issues". At midnight. I let it continue because I didn't have the heart to tell him that smell came out of my ass.
This may be more of an uo...not sure. But here goes anyway. When someone tells me they don't vax their kid, they immediately lose all credibility with me.
Example: I was corresponding with this Mom on a vbac board about her family centered c-section (drape down, immediatel skin-to-skin, etc.) and then she started talking about how she did not want baby out of her sight at all after birth (and I mean not at all...not even for a few minutes) because she was scared they would vaccinate her baby without her permission. After that, I started thinking she was a little paranoid. First, I don't think the hospital is going to sneak vaccinations if you decline them. Second, I just don't get not wanting to protect your kid from something that could kill them like, say, whooping cough.

Ditto. I can't remember the last time I wore my engagement ring. Just a small eternity band. I'm not sure whether this irks my husband or not, but I told him I didn't really want one from the get-go. That's what he gets for not listening to me. Maybe this is my FFFC (and is definitely a UO), but I think it looks more clean and professional to wear an understated band.
I volunteered to make cupcakes for the Valentine's day dance at my son's school tonight simply so I have an excuse to eat a lot of the cupcakes I bake today.
I actually have one today. DD's movie of the week is The Lorax. I have a crush on the Onceler. Young one, not the old one. It helps that Ed Helms voices him. I love when he sings "How Bad Can I Be?"
I'm currently sitting on the toilet in the faculty bathroom at work during my prep. There are a few people waiting to use the private bathroom instead of going across the hall to the regular bathroom that students are allowed to use. Normally I would try to hurry, but I'm taking my sweet ass time because I haven't pooped for a while and I'm relishing it.
My FFFC- I am a food hoarder. I purposely hide food around the house that I think I may want later. Costco is dangerous for me in a big way. Now that we live in a house with attached garage, I want to buy all the food because I have more places to hide it. I will ration out a teeny bit of junk food for DH but hide all the rest. Luckily we have very deep cabinets and my family is lazy. I'm waiting until we start reorganizing to try to make room for baby stuff in the kitchen and I get busted for hiding chocolate Pop-Tarts and Cheetos.
Hmm....Cheetos.....
Downside of this: Now that I'm pregnant, I don't remember where I hid anything. Oops.
