Currently sitting in the ER with Kent. He started convulsing when I was nursing him tonight and, combined with everything else we've been dealing with this week, the pediatrician said to bring him in ASAP to rule out a seizure. I've never been so thankful we live so close to family...my other babies are having an impromptu sleepover at Nana's.
Any T&P you want to send our way are much appreciated. I'm a bit of a wreck right now.
UPDATE 1 (2/7 1am): We just got home. DH left work early to be with us. All 3 doctors agreed that it sounds like it was a seizure but, since it was a first and his vitals/behavior were normal, they advised doing a follow up in the morning rather than test at the main hospital/NICU (60 miles away) tonight...unless something changes of course. Thank you all for the kind words, T&P, etc...you truly are the best.

UPDATE 2 (2/7 11pm): Doctor confirmed that we are in the "sit, watch, and gather info" phase. No further testing is needed unless he has another seizure episode. K is doing very well and back to his happy flirty self...and he started crawling today as if to show us he's fine! It's reassuring to know that the doctors believe it was likely an isolated event and that there seems to be nothing to worry about. Thank you oodles again!
