I opted to do the personal blood glucose testing 4x/day instead of the GTT. As was the case with DD when I did the GTT, my fasting level is right at the low end of normal, and after I eat (even a high protein meal) it drops into the low 60's. So basically, my blood sugar seems to always be between 55-75. For those of you who know about BG levels and how they are managed, is this an issue? DD was a little on the small side, and I'm a little concerned that there isn't quite enough sugar for LO#2. Anyone have any experience here? Will ask the MW but I doubt she'll have much to say other than it's good that I certainly don't have GD. I don't even have a primary physician, so not sure whether this is worth looking into.
