Three month old won't nap in crib

But sleeps like a champ in it at night swaddled. She will nap in my arms, her favorite place, her bouncer or swing. She'll be 3 months tomorrow and isn't on any type of nap schedule, not that I need her on one anyway. If I put her in her crib unswaddled, she is like a worm and I'll find her laying across the crib or kicking her legs getting agitated. She just got moved to her crib from her basinett this weekend, so maybe she has to adjust?

    I've tried, but she will last maybe 10 minutes, then she's up.. Strange. Maybe I have to wait until she's fully asleep then swaddle her.

    How dark is her room? Both of my sons wouldn't nap unless the room was darkened. I also followed the EASY schedule with DS2 who was all over the place with sleep when he was tiny and that seemed to help as well.

    DS was the same way - slept so well at night but not for naps. Personally, at 3 months I'd just kind of let them nap wherever works. At 7 months I got more into a stricter sleep schedule for naps. After a week or so he was napping like a champ in his crib. He's still an awesome sleeper at 21 months.

    Yeah. With older dd, when she was this young, I let her nap wherever too. I gotta admit, my arms are getting tired lol. So it would be nice to have her nice and sound in her crib.
