This might be a silly question, but I see many posts about people using a pack n play in their bedroom for the first few months, and I was wondering if it's OK to have the crib in your bedroom for the first few months instead? I plan on purchasing a pack n play for downstairs use, but instead of lugging it up and down the steps each day, I was thinking we could just bring the regular crib from the nursery into our bedroom. I don't plan on buying a gigantic/ornate crib -- probably the child craft london euro one. I just wasn't sure if there was some other reason people use the pack n play instead of a crib besides the size factor?
