  • Week/Fruit (or vegetable??):

16 weeks - a delicious avocado!! I also have my 16 week appointment today!!

    How are you feeling?:

I feel pretty good. I always get nervous before doctor appointments so I didn't sleep well last night. No negative symptoms, just hungry as a bear ALL the time.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:

We have a family wedding in Newport, RI that I am really looking forward to! I'm also going to Dallas in a couple weeks with my mom and little sister. It will be amazing to escape this frigid Chicago weather! We are also making the big move to the suburbs and I'm really excited to live in a house with DH for the first time vs. an apartment/condo!

I am looking forward to my little man turning two this August! I can't believe how quickly time has flown by!

How are you feeling?: I can't believe I'm 18 weeks!  I remember when I first started on the bump I was 5 or 6 weeks and I would see the girls who were 8 weeks and think, "wow, they're far along!"  Haha.  I'm feeling pretty good.  Strangely normal.  My bump has not grown much since it popped at 15 weeks.  I have less appetite, especially at night.  If I eat a full dinner, I am uncomfortably full and get these gross barf-burps  :(

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:  Life is chugging along pretty normally besides the baby thing, so baby's what I'm most excited about  :)

How are you feeling?: Pretty good as long as I don't look at barely done nursery. It looks like a hurricane hit and reminds me how much work we have to do to get ready.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:
    BBQs & margaritas ;)

    How are you feeling?:
I'm feeling pretty good. I think I need a massage though. My neck has been killing me.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:
This fall we have two weddings and LO 1 will turn three.

@penelopesnuz77 I hope Dallas warms up for you. It's snowing here today with a wind chill of 8. I know this is still nothing compared to other parts of the country.

How are you feeling?: Feeling ok, round ligament pain is getting annoying; so not a breakfast person but learning that I must eat or else I'm going to feel like crap the rest of the day. I've lost 10 pound so far so hoping that I don't gain it all back at once.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?: DH are going to a wedding in Boston in May and going to take a little babymoon while we're there yay!!! Also, my birthday is also in July so looking forward to my birthday even though baby will be a week old and no one will probably care about me lol.

    Anniversary

  • Week/fruit: 17 weeks. An onion

How are you feeling: better everyday and it's amazing. M/s is practically gone, energy is back! Finally starting to completely enjoy this pregnancy.

Looking forward to: living in FL, spring time means lots of spring training baseball. Won't be enjoying those dollar beer days this year, but it should still be fun! We've planned an anniversary trip to savannah, ga in April, and a braves game in Atlanta. Hoping spring and summer bring plenty of pool and beach days!

  • Week/Fruit - 16/Avocado

How are you feeling: I still have random bouts of sickness, like I'll throw up out of nowhere, so that's fun.  I also have perma-exhaustion, and my sciatica is already back.  It's going to be a long pregnancy.

We're starting construction on our new house next month, so I'm excited about that, and hope we'll be in it by November.

How are you feeling?:  Pretty good, starving, energy is up, starving.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?: GARDENING!  We transplanted a ton of flowers, so I can't wait to see those come up.  I have a nice sized vegetable garden, too.

Really, feeling pretty good!  Having lots of headaches this pregnancy, which is new, but other than that (and a little fatigue), mostly back to my old self.  :D

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:
Looking forward to updating our bathroom in the spiring!  It's going to make Mama soooo happy to have pretty new walls and a fresh tub surround!  Also looking foward to being outside again.  Want to tear into my gardening right now (SPRING FEVER), but we currently have about 11 inches of snow on the ground.  :-q

    Happy Thursday!!!  :-bd

16 weeks, I haz an avocado.  An avocado with a PENIS.

I'm feeling great- plenty hungry, though I'd like to be able to stay up past 9:30pm occasionally.

I can't wait for some CAMPING@@#r!@$%!  DH and I have been outfitting ourselves with a ridiculous amount of gear for car camping and we didn't get to go much last year- too much rain.  I can't wait for spring this year- as soon as it's warm enough we're meeting some friends in PA for a long weekend :)

  • Week/Fruit (or vegetable??): week 17, onion

How are you feeling?: I'm know you are suppose to get your energy back in your second trimester but that hasn't been true for me. I'm still tired a lot and I'm not sleeping, sneezing and itching with dry skin like crazy, generally uncomfortable. I'm also just in a bad mood today. I think that generally, I'm very happy and excited for the LO.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?: Leaving for Southern Florida in a couple of weeks so excited for some beach and sunshine, Memorial weekend going to a big celebration bbq for one of my best friends who is graduating from law school, cousins wedding in Newport, RI in June, and Mexico for a week in Oct. Basically super excited for the LO, summertime and BBQ's.

Actually, we no longer say "yes", instead we say "affirmative"....unless it's a more colloquial situation, with a few robo-friends  ;)

How are you feeling?:  I'm feeling pretty good.  DS, on the other hand, is not which is a bummer.  He's had a cold/runny nose (which I also got last week) and now it's a cough and he had to stay home from DC yesterday because of a fever.  Hopefully he doesn't pass it back to me.

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?:  DH's birthday, my birthday, and DS will be 2 in August.  Also, we're taking our niece to Charleston for her spring break, so that should be fun.

How are you feeling?: Ugh feeling okay, but just tired as usual. Already super hard for me to be on my feet much and bending over and such. Belly is huge and already so in the way it seems. DD's been confused by it I think!

Other than having a baby, what else are you most looking forward to this spring and summer?: Hmm, I guess the warm weather and getting DD outside more! Hopefully I can take her out though by then, we'll see. Oh and I almost forgot, my birthday is in May and I'll be turning 30! Mom is going to throw my dad and I a joint party in early May for his 60th and my 30th. It's a bit early (dad's birthday is in June) b/c who knows how I'll be feeling/when the babies will be here!

ETA: Umm, almost forgot my birthday...

Ours is the Rok/Jaacks wedding. Much shorter names. Too funny!!

I love Newport so much and am so excited to go back this year. Her brother got married there last summer and we had the best time! Do you have to travel far? My mom is so worried about me traveling at 8mo pregnant but I'm looking forward to it!

That's so crazy. It would have been amazing if it was the same wedding. I do have to travel from DC so since I can't fly, we either have to take the train or drive. We will most likely drive just in case I go into labor. I'm a little worried myself traveling but I think it will be fun and they traveled out of state for my wedding. Do you have to travel far for yours?

  • We are flying from Chicago to Providence. Southwest lets you fly up to 38 weeks, so I figure what the heck. It will be so fun!

Also, DH's cousin who will be attending is a nurse practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife so she would know what to do were anything to happen!

  • PenelopeSnuz77 Well have fun, I hate it won't be the same wedding!! But travel safely.

I see that Southwest flies from DC to Providence too but tickets are pretty expensive. Maybe I will keep researching because it's a 10 hour drive otherwise.

Yea my husband is a Doctor so luckily if something does happen, he knows what to do.

Symptoms: less morning (evening) sickness. Made it to the gym for the first time since pregnant. Increased sex drive!

I'm looking forward to the beach! I can't wait to swim and dig a hole in the ground to sleep on my belly.
