Mmmmmmm..... sushi!!!!! It's almost like I wish I had a huge boat of sushi before we go pregnant. . Plus I have been CRAVING spicy tuna and real California rolls...
I still have one pepsi every morning for a small caffeine boost.. but am trying to cut that down to zero as well.
Wine, beer, and margaritas! Oh, my! I agree with a previous post that Super Bowl was NOT the same without some ice cold beer. And living in Texas and going to a Tex-Mex restaurant is torture without ordering a margarita! It's gonna be a loooong summer, indeed. But it's good to know I'm not alone! ;-)
I don't drink and I had given up caffeine when we thought about starting to try. I love to eat though, so it's foods I can't have - goat cheese, feta...I had to tell one friend early because she was insistent on sushi and knows I love it.
I miss my patience...I have very little to none these days. And with an 18onth old, it's been very trying. I think it's a combo of m/s, exhaustion, and hormones/emotions. It has me feeling like a really lousy mom and wife.
And I miss my house being somewhat clean and organized. It's trashed now, and I cannot get it back to good, no matter how hard I try.
Alcohol and wine really haven't sounded good since I've been pregnant, but I'm sure I'll miss them more later.

You should NEVER EVER drink alcohol during pregnancy not even one glass of wine in the second trimester. Dr's don't know how much it takes for fetal alcohol syndrome to happen. It could be a glass a couple you just never know when it will affect your sweet developing baby and just because your in the second trimester does not mean your baby is not developing. Sorry end rant these hormones are kicking my butt!
I'm gonna go ahead and listen to my ob instead of a random internet stranger. An occasional glass of wine later in pregnancy is fine. Stop trying to scare the ftm's.
To add to this: I avoid taking medical advice from people that do not use "your" and "you're" properly. Also, punctuation is pretty cool.
I'm sure as the weather gets warmer, it will be margaritas again. It was the thing I missed most with both my other two pregnancies. Someone suggested a virgin margarita and I gave them a death glare and said, "I don't like margaritas because I like LIME, I like TEQUILA."

Ha whoever suggested that clearly isn't a margarita drinker. The tequila makes the drink!

Max, my inner English major has such a crush on you right now! Wanna share red pens??
In this order, I miss: regular pooping, being able to get things done without falling asleep, sex with my husband, and Coke. Come summer, it will be alcohol. I'm a poolside mojito kind of girl.

The only thing I miss is being able to sleep all night and sleep in without having to pee! Right now I'm thankful for every little symptom though! I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything else because I barely drank before getting pregnant and I've still been having the occasional coffee and diet Pepsi.
Sushi. Beer - all the beer. Wine. And my coffee which I would still be drinking if it didn't make me want to hurl. Also, ibuprofen and cold meds. ETA: How could I forget?? I'd kill for a Bloody Mary! Particularly this one - we did these for my birthday last year, and they were AMAZING.

I would have to say I miss not having gas pain - it has been horrible and I can't think of a time i had heartburn when I wasn't pregnant - I don't ever have stomach problems.
I miss my 11pm - 7am sleep schedule...now it's more like falling asleep on the couch at 8pm, zombie-walking to bed, waking up to pee at 3am...still lying awake at 4...5...6...*sigh*
1) Excedrin Migraine - I'm a chronic migraine sufferer and this was the only thing working for me lately. Can't take it now and more often than not, Tylenol just doesn't cut it.
2) Eggs-over-easy - I LOVE eating eggs over easy. Scrambled just isn't the same. I got pasteurized eggs at the grocery store the other day, so I'm tempted to try it.

My after work cocktail. DH and I have a fully stocked, antique, walk-up bar in our home and are very much into mixology. Our evenings used to consist of concocting awesome cocktails and sitting on our deck sipping away. Now when my husband cracks open the bourbon I almost puke. I can't stand the smell of it - but I do miss the way his Manhattan's tasted. How many more months is it???? lol
I find myself missing cocktails which is funny because I wasn't a big drinker before hand (would drink socially once or twice a month) but now people are posting cocktail recipes on my facebook and they just look and sound so yummy. Not even sure the next time i'll be able to have a cocktail since I plan on EBFing. I guess I'll have to get acquainted with the virgin counterparts.
@JudyBlume14 - yes, yes you do! It is a "Meal in a Mug" from a bar and grill nearby. It is the Bloody Mary, and *I think* 16 garnishes. There is the bacon cheeseburger slider, a pickle, a whole hard boiled egg, a strip of bacon, 2 green olives, 2 bleu cheese stuffed green olives *drool*, a couple of cubes of cheese - cheddar and pepperjack, a pepper, a lime wedge, a lemon wedge, a celery stick, a stick of beef jerky, an onion, a cherry tomato, a cocktail shrimp, and the rocks glass of beer on the side. I think that's it. It was AWESOME.

Tea! I love sweet tea, herbal tea, and iced tea. I've been trying to stay away from caffeine as much as possible until I'm out of the "danger zone". Some strawberry iced tea sounds so good right now.
I have also had allergies almost daily for the last month. Claritin just isn't cutting it lately. I miss having options

You can have most herbal teas. They're normally not actually made with tea leaves and are caffeine free. Unless an herb in them is bad for pregnancy, you're fine. In fact some of them are great for symptoms: ginger for nausea, peppermint for indigestion, licorice root for sore throat, just to name a few.
I definitely miss my wine. I didn't drink a lot but I certainly loved coming home after a long day a relaxing with half a glass or so. And now I'm more anxious than ever because this is my first pregnancy and I'm so sick all the time. I could really use a glass of wine right now!
It's nice to be surrounded by winos. I've got my first ladies night since I've been pregnant tonight and I'm not going to be able to drink like the rest of my ladies tonight. I imagine I will be staring at their glasses with envy. (But yay husby and I decided it was safe to go ahead and tell the close girlfriends who come out with me tonight!)
@dinodna3 That sucks! H & I actually own a micro-brewery. Thank god we are in the process of relocating right now and aren't in production because I just couldn't be there everyday making but not drinking beer. He already knows if we are up again by beerfest season he is on his own.
That's awesome that you own a micro-brewery. We got my dad a homebrew kit as a gift for our wedding in October. His first batch is ready this weekend. I'm bummed I will not get to try it.

Alcohol- Why aren't we allowed to drink soda? I constantly craved Dr Pepper last pregnancy and drank it. I was never told I couldn't have that..
I also miss eating food normally, instead of waiting to see whether I have to throw up or not.

Oh and Medium Rare steak. Definitely going to cry a lot during grill season. I REFUSE to eat steak well done - so I will wait.

Edit: By that I mean not being disgusted by lots of food that I used to enjoy and also not feeling like I'm starving all of the time.
