What are you doing? Waiting for AF to leave, enjoying not temping while she's here though.

Rants/raves/chart stalks? Nothing--I have a crap load of OPKs that I can't wait to pee on.  I was gifted a lot of CBE sticks and FRERs and received my brand new stash of Wondfos in the mail yesterday.  I put everything in a cardboard box and MH is now is referring to it as my Fertility Box (not to be confused with my vag.  Yep, I went there.)

GTKY: Yesterday's wedding posts had me wondering, were you active on the Knot when you were wedding planning? Yes, then it got replaced with the Bump once we started ttc.

What are you doing: hanging out here until I get crosshairs; generally being paranoid about my timing.

Rants/Stalks: I had some noticeable O pains last night and this morning so that's making me paranoid that maybe I didn't actually O yet. But my temps and OPKs say otherwise. I've been too sick to HIO the last two nights so I'm hoping these pains are just exaggerated in my mind or it's something new and weird for me AL.

GTKY: Yes I was active on TK during wedding planning. I had a destination wedding and used the local NOLA board constantly (lurking and then posting). I did lurk my month board and etiquette, but not much else. I had a different screen name though.

    CD: 15

What are you doing? OPK, lots of water, CM, cough syrup, exercise

Rants/raves/ chart stalks: this is my first time using OPK's and I just want to see a positive already! I started using them on Sunday. My cycle has been ranging between 29 and 36 days. I guess I am going to be in the longer side this time. Time passes slowly while TTC!!

GTKY: I never used the knot. My mom did all of our wedding planning so it took away all my stress/questions/anxiety!

So excited to finally be able to participate!

    Cycle:
    1/1

    CD: 2

What are you doing? Started actually charting my temps yesterday on CD1.  Upping my water intake, PNVs, green tea.

Rants/raves/chart stalks? Since I got my IUD out on Jan 16th I have been waiting for AF to really start paying attention to cycle.  I last spotted on Jan. 6th, just for the day.  This is all that ever really happened when I had mirena in.  I had mirena removed 10 days later on Jan 16th (minimal spotting related to removal for a day).  I started spotting yesterday, which is 29 days since I spotted on Jan 6th, so I'm choosing to believe it's my first post-mirena AF.  So far it's just very light and brown, so it's a little different than I was expecting but frankly - I didn't know what to expect post mirena.

GTKY: Yesterday's wedding posts had me wondering, were you active on the Knot when you were wedding planning? I was not.  I lurked on weddingbee more frequently, but I didn't get super involved in boards anywhere.  Pinterest was my wedding go-to.

ETA: I haven't had any PMS related cramping.  It's been 14 years since I had a natural period without artificial hormones in my body, but I sure remember having bad cramps.  It's a bizarre feeling having no idea how my body will be without hormones.

    Cycle: 10

     CD: 5

What are you doing? BBT, CM, OPKs, and Preseed, if it gets here in time.

Rants/raves/chart stalks? Nothing exciting ever happens this early in my cycle.  I'm ready for next week so we can get this party started.

GTKY: Yesterday's wedding posts had me wondering, were you active on the Knot when you were wedding planning? I used The Knot for a lot of ideas, but I don't think I knew there were chat boards at the time. And my profile weirdly says my join date was after my wedding, which I'm pretty sure is wrong. But whatever, here I am now. :)

  • Quick Charting Question... If I don't O, will FF reflect that? I've been through all the tutorials and such, but I don't remember reading about cycles where there is no noted ovulation. Any insight is appreciated.

    CD: 3??

What are you doing? CBEFM, CM/CP, Temping, Testing with RE this cycle

Rants/raves/chart stalks? So I guess I'm on CD 3?? My flow is so incredibly light, it really barely counts. I had to call my RE and ask for clarification on if this should count, even though I know the normal "full flow" rule. I think my estrogen was just so incredibly low last cycle that I didn't really build up much of a lining to shed. Go, me! :-p I can't even have my period correctly. I'm anxious to get some answers this cycle....

GTKY: Yesterday's wedding posts had me wondering, were you active on the Knot when you were wedding planning?

I was not! I was so incredibly busy, there is no way I would have had time to participate. We had a short engagement (just over 5 months), and we already had two kids to take care of, I worked full-time, and had a decent commute. We're just lucky we had time to breathe for those 5 months. This year is much calmer so far. :-)

  • katnhiding your chart looks exactly like mine usually do! It looks like you could have O'd yesterday or today but I think you'll just have to wait it out and see what your temps do the next few days. FWIW, I O all over the place... • @MauiBliss Thanks for your help. I figured it would come up with something, but it also said that even very irregular cycles can find O signals, so I got confused. I'm looking forward to my first full month temping vaginally. I think that will help with the irregularities a little.

@aragosta, thinking of you extra hard today.

    Cycle: 3

    CD: 19

What are you doing? Waiting. Doing all of the regular things.

Rants/raves/chart stalks? I STILL have not gotten anything close to a positive OPK...is it possible to O without ever turning even a more sensitive digi positive? My temps also aren't dipping as low as they did last cycle. I'm starting to wonder if this will be another cycle without O.......If I do O, hopefully, we won't have a 5 day LP this time around......

QUESTION: If I have a second cycle with such a short LP in a row, should I be calling my doc? Or should I just keep waiting it out? I know these aren't viable cycles because of that so I am just worried about wasting time on useless cycles. Thanks!

GTKY: Yesterday's wedding posts had me wondering, were you active on the Knot when you were wedding planning?  Nope. My mother planned my wedding. I didn't really give a damn about the whole thing. I think I contributed to picking out the cake and my dress and that was pretty much it.
I think I am stuck in a quote box....
"Is it possible to O without ever turning even a more sensitive digi positive?"
I would say yes, it is probably possible. I'm not very good on the ovulation front though, so maybe someone else can answer this part better for you.

"If I have a second cycle with such a short LP in a row, should I be calling my doc?"
Personally, after my third messed-up cycle in a row, I decided to call. In my case, they were all anovulatory, as opposed to one anovulatory, and other with short LP, but I still think I would have done the same thing. My OB/GYN said (at an annual a few months before we started), that while he would have me wait closer to a year of trying if things looked good, that I could call after 3-4 months if there was something else going on. In my case, the beginning of the 4th month was in the middle of the 3rd cycle, and that is when I called. I wasn't sure if I was jumping the gun at that point, but they didn't seem to think I was, and in hindsight, I am glad I didn't wait any longer. I hope that helps. (Sorry for the shitty formatting....)

What are you doing? not much

Rants/raves/chart stalks? I met with my RE today to discuss how I miserably failed the Clomid Challenge test. My FSH is basically at menopausal levels so fertility treatments are not an option. We will probably start looking at donor eggs or frozen embryos. But first I need some time to digest everything so we will keep trying on our own for a little while. I wish I could give my ovaries a swift kick in the ass to make them get back to work. They seem to have taken an early retirement.
