Hello,
I'm looking to switch my OB/GYN. I love my doctor but the practice has recently gone through a staff change. The check-in people are rude and his new nurse does not come off as pleasant either. I've been having a gut feeling to change since the beginning of my pregnancy, but I tried to come up with every excuse not to; especially since my doctor delivered my first child. However, I've been getting every reason to change. Well on my way to the doctor's office, I always see a billboard that has TX Children's Hospital Women's Pavilion, which I've done some research about it. My question is, has or does anyone have any recommendations for an OB/GYN that service the TX Children's Hospital?
Thanks!
Re: OB/GYN recommendations for the TX Children's Women's Pavillion?
The Women's Specialists of Houston use Texas Children's Pavilion for Women for delivery. This practice is right next door and is a large group of OB/GYNs plus a midwife practice. 713-797-1144
I see the midwives and will be delivering there in early November. I haven't had the tour yet, but have heard nothing but great things.
My OB/GYN when I was in Houston was David Zepeda at The Women's Specialists of Houston. He is amazing and I know he now delivers at the TX Children's Women's Pavilion.
Ditto about the Women's Specialist of Houston. I see Dr Bobo in that practice, and she's fantastic. I also saw Dr. Espana once when Dr. Bobo was out, and he was also great. In fact, I haven't heard anything bad about any of the doctors there pretty much everyone seems to rave about her specific doctor there.
They're currently in the St. Luke's tower, but will be moving next door to the new Women's Pavillion this week or next (week of Sept 17 or week of 23rd).
