I almost always wear heels to work and don't plan on changing as the pregnancy progresses. I don't wear very high heels (2.5"-3"). Hopefully my feet don't grow! My skis don't need to be any longer . I'm tall as it is (5'10"), but I just like the look of heels with professional clothes.
Keep your head and your heels high, lady!
Go ahead and keep thinking that... LOL You'll be throwing in the towel by week 30. I'm sure of it.
Wow... I'll file this in the "just you wait..." category of comments from STMs that make us all seem bitchy.
Not trying to be bitchy, just realistic. You'll see. Just wait. You'll see that I'm right...
Just can't you couldn't hack it doesn't mean other people won't.
That is true. Though the vast majority of women won't be able to. More power to those who can.
I realize I'm making generalizations here.... but as you know, there are exceptions to every rule.
Generalizations are just that, the majority won't, but I'm sure there are some crazy bitches out there that will rock their 6" heels till the bitter end I won't be one of them.
File this with not being able to cross your lets or tie your shoes Don't think it won't happen to you... OHHH it will! lol.
And why couldn't you tie your shoes????? ETA: And cross your legs????
LOL. Because I was as big as a house! I'm not overweight normally, but I did gain a Lot while pregnant. My belly was so big I couldn't reach my feet and it would be in the way while crossing my legs.
I didn't have any problem rockin' my heels until the very end with my winter baby but with my two summer babies, I was so swollen towards the end I was only comfy in flip flops But I think it's great if you can and I've also been out of practice for so long now that wearing heels just kills my feet. Oh and I'm another mom who's feet have gone up a size and sadly they never went down again
I wore heels through most of my last pregnancy- and will probably do the same this time around. Wow- I'm not sure what I would do if someone I worked with said something about it. I've pretty much lost any filter I had I lately, so would likely say something 'unprofessional.'
