Everything went so fast. I am going to try to get this all down, I am sure I will forget something.

I am on mobile so forgive me in advance.
Friday morning doc stripped my membranes (39 weeks and 4 days). I was 3 almost 4 cm dilated. Started contracting irregular about an hour after I left the appointment. Went on with my day having mild contractions between 2-20 min apart. Around 4pm I started timing them and they were about 6 min inbetween. Very quickly they were 4 min apart then 15 min later they were 3 min apart (at this point I am trying to pack my bag, hahah) then 10 min later they are about 1.5 min apart and we are in the car headed to the hospital and the nurse was on the phone freaking out that I was going to have a baby on the side of the road. I reassured her it was going to be ok.
We get to the hospital and they slowed back down to 3 min apart so I got worried I was going back home. But they checked me and I was at 5cm so I was admitted. My contractions picked back up while walking to 1.5 min apart and ALL the pain was in my pelvis and back. None in my belly. It felt like my bones were going to snap with every contrax. They came in a hour later and surprisingly I was still a 5. I was devastated. I wanted a med free birth but the amount of pain in my pelvis was A LOT. Doc broke my water and 2 contractions later I asked for the epi. This is where it gets crazy.
They pain was a 20 on a scale of 1-10. My contractions were about 10-20 seconds apart. (Freaking crazy). I was trying to sit still for my epi but he couldn't get it. I had to sit compleatly still for about 45 min while he tried 7 times. I thought I was going to pass out. Babies hr was over 200 and my BP was off the charts. I am pretty sure I screamed for them to gas me because it hurt so bad I was going to die. FINALLY, he got it. They walked out 2 min later, I could still feel my contractions and told my husband to stop them that it was time to push. He ran and grabbed them and the doc walked in and they dropped the end of the bed and doc said push whenever. 1 push and her head was out and 1 more and her body was out. 6lbs 14oz 19 1/4 inches long. I dilated 5cm and delivered in less then 1 hour. Ouchie!!! She was
READY! Perfectly healthy, perfect little girl. We delayed cord clamping and did skin to skin for a few hours.
She has showed me a couple things about bf, she eats like a champ and loves her sleep (just like mama). My boys love her to pieces and I am fairly certain she can pull anything over on daddy!
Here is a pic of her at abou 20 hrs old for reading this novel!

And congrats to all the mamas that had their LO over the last couple days. I can't wait to catch up on all the stories!
