Has everyone already purchased a stroller & car seat?

I need a new infant car seat since my infant one has expired. I'm also looking for a new stroller because mine are pretty beaten up from using them for years. I feel like I should be rushing a bit more to purchase them in case they're on back order or something but I just can't get motivated because I'm so tired all of the time!! Anyone else not have their gear all ready yet?

We got the dresser and crib and the glider is ordered. Honestly wishing for the travel system to go on sale (hopefully). If it doesn't go on sale by mid march or so ill buy it

When I was expecting my first I didn't buy anything until 35w. We're reusing DD's car seat and stroller this this around. We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 with the Keyfit caddy. We didn't get an actual stroller until DD was 9m old. Went straight to a lightweight stroller, the Chicco Echo. I still don't really use the stroller though, mostly I wear DD in the carrier.

We have our stroller - the infant seat is on our registry so we are waiting until after our shower to purchase with our completion coupon unless someone gives it to us as a gift.

STM, my son is only 2.5 so the car seat is fine. I got an awesome deal on a double stroller from a virtual garage sale site like 4 months ago, so I am ready with that.

We need a whole new furniture set but are waiting til March to do that.

All the rest of the gear is in the attic, it will come down once the nursery is empty and painted.

We are currently busy getting the kids rooms painted, having new doors put in upstairs (sound proof) and moving my son to a big boy room.

I will be happy when all of that ^ is done.

We don't have anything yet. Someone bought the car seat and snap n go from our registry but I probably won't see those until the shower(s). My parents ordered the crib this weekend and we're waiting on that to be delivered at some point. Everything else is either sitting on the registry or still TBD.

We finally got the crib and dresser assembled and in place (had to reship both for different reasons) and of course the room is painted but no, I'm not allowed to buy anything else until some of these showers happen lol. Ottaman, travelsystem and pack/play are next on my mind!!

I put the car seat and stroller on the registry. My shower isn't until April so I'm hoping I can get it quickly via Amazon if they aren't purchased.

Our double stroller was purchased in Nov - it was on sale and I didn't want to miss out.

With DD, that gear was on our registry so I didn't get any of it until my shower at 33 weeks. It doesn't really get backordered - that's more a furniture thing.

We got our travel system right after Christmas. We didn't plan to get it so early, we just went to the store to check the one we liked online out, and test the pushing, weight, etc. But when we were there they had a pre-inventory sale that gave 20% off any in-stock item. They only had one Britax B-Agile system left in stock, so we didn't want to risk them selling it before we could come back with my in-laws in a couple of weeks, and not getting the 20% discount.

My in-laws had said they were going to buy it for us, so it wasn't even our $100 we were saving, but that's serious money, no matters who it is.

I don't really think you need to have it too soon in advanced. If you were a FTM that registered for it, you might not get something like that until your baby shower, so that could be late March or April. No harm in that.

We got the B-Agile and B-Safe travel system when it was on sale for pre-order on Amazon.

Walls are being painted this week in LO's room. We are repainting a dresser and end table, and got a glider and ottoman locally for free that we're hoping to repaint and reupholster. We have a crib on our registry.

I haven't bought anything yet. My mother dropped off the family cradle though and my sister dropped off a pack n play. Other than that nothing and it's kinda stressing me out. My baby shower is probably going to be next month though.

ETA: great now I sound gift grabby. We are just waiting to purchase a lot of the big baby stuff til after we get our car fixed. So next month will probably be the big baby shopping trips.

Ftm I'll be 24weeks tomorrow and all we have bought is bedding, k'tan and a few outfits. We are moving across the country this week though so we knew we didn't want to buy anything before that, but even after we arrive at our new location I may wait a few weeks to start buying. I'm ok with waiting to but, I just hate that I see all these sales going on with car seats and strollers but I'm sure there will be more to come.

We're reusing everything from my first kiddo so we have all the furniture, stroller and car seats. I haven't touched the nursery though. I plan to take April off from everything to try and work on it (if I have the motivation).

We have not purchased anything. We are still making room in the nursery for the furniture and my goal is to buy it by 32 weeks. The car seat and stroller are on the registry so if no ones gets them for us at our showers, then we will go buy them.

I did get the infant car seat already ONLY bc I landed an awesome deal. I was able to get the Chicco KeyFit 30 (normally $189 before tax) for only $93!!! I couldn't pass it up.

Sorry, it was a few weeks ago at Baby Depot. I had a coupon, plus they let me sign up my email for an additional 20% off coupon to stack with it. I also had a $10 gift card. I was very lucky to stumble across it. I had been watching that car seat on numerous sites and it never went on sale.

No. I am a terrible STM. This weekend I bought clothes, bottles and pacifiers. Next week is the car seat and snap and go (thinking Chicco).

We need EVERYTHING as if we were first time parents because my daughter is 8. I am hoping the crib and dresser will work out, so we will at least have that.

I haven't gotten the new stroller yet! I don't know what I'm waiting for. I guess I want to get the nursery nice first. Also I'm not sure what to do with our old one - trying to sell it seems like a pain. Maybe we'll keep it for traveling or rough terrain?

I have stuff- crib, high chair, a rug for the nursery...

But generally speaking we are waiting to do a huge amazon order closer to the due date to finish off our registry. Some stuff will come at the baby shower, but the rest is all just a few clicks away.

The way I see it- even if our early bird decides to come super early- we will be stuck in the nicu until close to the due date and will have plenty of time to wait for our amazon boxes to arrive.

We have the Britax B-Agile, and B-Safe stroller and carseat on our registry. I was thinking of taking advantage of the BRU promotion where if you trade in an old car seat or other item you get 25% off, but I still have a few days to consider. I'd have to get something to trade first, but I should be able to find something. So far we've only gotten a crib and mattress, but only because I saw a barely used one that someone had on an online yard sale site for only $75 and couldn't pass it up. Mostly I'm just waiting for my baby shower, but I really doubt that I'd get the carseat and stroller since it's so expensive, so like I said I might bite the bullet on that one.

Only because my hubby and I are blessed with a very giving and excited family do we have pretty much all of the big item baby things for our 23 week twins (car seats, cribs, highchairs, nursery furniture, stroller, and swings). We actually were just talking about how grateful we are on Sunday...after building the changing table.

I have a lot of stuff because I've been buying and receiving free used baby gear from coworkers. I have tons of clothes, pack n play, play mat, swing, carrier, etc. We've only bought the crib. We did finally pick out a car seat and stroller and will probably buy that in the next week b/c I'm trading in one of the used things we bought and want to take advantage of that at BRU before 2/17.

I've got nothing. Except a couple lovely big boxes of hand-me-downs (clothes, blankets, and bought some cloth diapers) from coworkers. But travel system, sleeper, etc - nope.

Reading reviews to choose a carseat and contemplate if to get with a stroller (which I don't expect we will use much but if the combo is a way better deal then maybe) are on the to-do list ... maybe for Feb. vacation. And for a rock n play or rock n sleep (whichever it's called) sort of thing which is all there will be room for to start out. Not sure how many different kinds of those there even are. I want to have those sortof soonish - like by late March - in case LO somehow comes super-early. And maybe some sort of wearer/carrier thing.

Otherwise .. just learning/thinking about all this stuff little by little. There's so many options for things it's overwhelming. Like, which kind of bottle to get (hoping to BF but figure better have some bottles in case pumping is needed or supplementing or whatever)? Oh yeah and pump. and and and auuuugggh! We won't have a family/friends shower (people are too scattered/far away) but SIL is starting to bug me to make a registry. And co-workers seem to usually do a shower. So should really try to have some registry by early-mid March anyway.

We bought a Combi Coccoro for my husband's truck since it is small. We were given two car seats (Chicco keyfit and Britax Roundabout55) brand new randomly, but i think we'll return them in favor of the chicco nextfit for my car. Skipping the infant seat - hope I don't regret it!

If baby comes in March the least of your worries will be having the RNP set up.

We have:
1) Coming home outfit, courtesy of my sister, which we received as a Christmas gift.
2) Toddler boy clothes from the Philippines, courtesy of my mom, which she bought when she was over there and we all still thought I was having a boy.
3) A blanket, from MIL, which she bought at a yard sale for $0.50.
I haven't finished my registry. No clue on what I want for her. Shower is in March. Will likely procrastinate as long as possible, per usual. HTH!

I also do have some clothes. I have bought a lot of 6-9m winter clothes on clearance, and a few 0-3m onesies on clearance. I received 3 bags of mostly 0-3m onesies and sleepers from a good friend, along with a bath tub, some bottles to try, and I'll be getting some pump supplies from her as well. She also has 3-6m size clothes to go through, so there's a strong chance she will gift some of those to me as well. A mutual friend is 5 weeks ahead of me and we both left with 3 bags of clothes.

FTM here. We have bought a grand total of 3 outfits and one pair of booties.

My mom is getting on me to pick out a crib and has kindly offered to pay for it, but I can't get on board with some of the ridiculous prices.

We're leaning towards Baby Jogger City Mini GT stroller + Chicco carseat, but I can't decide on colors. Clearly I have a lot of work to do...
