This is the weekly June '14 PgAL check-in. This is a place for anyone due June 2014 that has suffered a previous pregnancy loss. PgAL is an exciting but scary place so please feel free to share your thoughts, concerns, milestones and vents. Mostly, this check-in is to remind all of us that we are not alone in the journey and to offer support along the way. Check-in is every Saturday.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically I'm good, random vomiting this week, sore abdomen and hips. Emotionally draining week for me at work and with everything on here

I just wanted to take another moment this morning to think about all of our ladies (PGAL and June 14) that have lost their LOs. My heart is breaking for all of these losses.

My mom seems to be doing alright even though we have to keep telling her to slow down. She had another scan yesterday but we won't get the results back until Friday supposedly.

How far along are you? 22 w 5 d!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Starting to have alot of RLPs again. UGH. Other than that, its just starting to be a pain to turn over in bed.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? Baby girl isn't kicking around as much as last week but she's probably just moved.

Next OB appt is 2/7 and then next A/S is 2/17...the A/S will be every 4 weeks to monitor growth, etc since thats they biggest risk with a SUA

How far along are you? 21 weeks

Team / Name? Pink! We found out last week but was unable to post because of my grandpa's funeral. Thank you for your thoughts! No names yet.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nope, but we're going house hunting tomorrow!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I'm not doing so great this morning. I had this amazing dream about having this sweet precious baby girl and then when I wiped this morning, there was a small light pink spot on the paper. I'm stressed to the max, but drinking water and taking it easy... praying it doesn't get worse. It seems like such a cruel joke to have that dream and wake up to this. I haven't had any other problems other than getting bronchitis. Even then we caught it early so I haven't been coughing much. Ugh. No appointments until Feb.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? Just everything above for the craziness (and that I'll probably keep checking the tp until the end...). As for awesomeness, I'm pretty sure I'm feeling her more!

How far along are you? 21w1d as of today!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Just a few outfits. We need a carseat/stroller and a car to fit three kids but I'm going to hold off until May I think.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Emotionally still terrified. And I keep reliving our loss and the days that lead up to it. these girls who've lost their babies are on my mind and in my heart. I hate to hear another 2nd or 3rd trimester loss. And I know how hard my journey has been and it's a lifelong journey. My next appt is on Wednesday morning with the MFM.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? No super crazy this week. But I've been feeling him kicking more and that is so reassuring.

Hello everyone, I'm new here. This is my second pregnancy in the past year and will hopefully be ending with a healthy baby.

How far along are you? 20 weeks exactly

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Not yet, but partly because we just don't have the storage space and will be moving within a week of my due date.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Emotionally just some anxiety, but I think I am handling it well. I've also not been sleeping the best and have been having cramps which are probably just growing pains and such. Still annoying though.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? A/S is on Monday!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? Lot's more movement than last week. DH still hasn't felt it and he is getting impatient, but I know he will soon.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I had an ob appt this week because I've been having cramping and some pain in my lower abdomen and right side. Doc seems to think it's just growing pains. A/S results show I have a perfect baby girl!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness? I love feeling all the movement on a daily basis! All the recent loses are very hard to read about though .. They are so heartbreaking and are making me nervous.

@kimmyberly26 I am glad mom is doing better...they always want to keep moving tho..can't hold them down!

Also..I was a flagger as well..played clarinet for concert band tho. Loved it!

This week has been a tough week to read a lot of the posts..it brings out the PGAL brain a lot. With the losses here and my friend currently going through a miscarriage is scares me. You are just never safe.

Other than that..feeling pretty good at almost 23 weeks.

How far: 19 weeks

Buy anything: no. We have everything we need... Unless its a girl. Then we need clothes.

Physically/emotionally: drained. Its been a tough week, both on TB and IRL.

Appt: the big A/S is Monday!!!!!

PgAl crazy/awesomeness: I'm having trouble connecting and getting excited. I'm hoping once we find out the sex I can start forming a picture of this LO. Then i can start seriously considering names and feel more connected. I have felt the baby move a few times and it brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait to feel it more often!

GTKY: no where. Military brat. I've never stayed in one place long enough to consider it "home."

Got the courage to buy anything yet? I painted the nursery and did an amazon registry but we haven't purchased anything yet except for a childbirth class (hypnobabies) and I'm about to sign the contract for a doula.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically I feel good. Emotionally, sad from all the loss on the board this week and a bit scared. I still don't have much of a bump, which somehow makes this pregnancy feel a bit surreal.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? My follow-up US is next Tuesday. It's to get a better view of the heart b/c little girl wasn't cooperating and to recheck her stomach size because it was measuring large at my A/S. I know that it's very likely that things will be fine, but the waiting is putting my PGAL brain in full force. I'm really scared for this scan. Any available good thoughts would be appreciated.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? We already have most of the big items from my dd. Pretty excited to be able to use all the girly things again! We bought a couple little tiny summer outfits following our a/s to celebrate.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? It feels really good to be halfway! I've been feeling much better - both physically and emotionally. The nausea has been pretty non-existent the last couple of weeks and the fatigue hasn't been as bad. Emotionally, I feel like we are finally allowing ourselves to get excited. Our a/s was a week and half ago and went great! Baby girl was being a little stubborn so we will have another ultrasound between 26-28 weeks to get a couple of the measurements the tech wasn't able to get this time. My midwife wasn't concerned, just an excuse for a "bonus" ultrasound as she described it!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? I'm just loving feeling the little baby movements and kicks - so reassuring.

Scared and heartbroken. Also there could be something wrong with my appendix but I don't know. Doctor said to keep checking my temp and in any pain in my side gets worse to goto the er.

A/s on the 12th then my birthday the day after.

Felt he baby a few times but I am not feeling connected yet. Also with all the other losses on the board makes me super nervous and sad.

I am from Washington but have lived in almost every state between here and Tennessee. We moved about every 6 months when I was younger. It was very cool but I still haven't really seen any place.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nothing new this week. Going to try to get hubs to work on the registry with me over the next week or so...

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I've had a cold all week, so congested and snotty has been me. Luckily it seems to be getting better on its own and I've managed to go med free to control symptoms. Just laid around like a slug whenever I could! Other than that, I'm beginning to feel LARGE! My bump is really coming into its own this week...

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I've been doing so well with PGAL brain as this pregnancy has continued to progress, but all the losses around here this week are reminding me that there's really never a truly "safe" point. I'm just doing my best to send up extra prayers whenever I can and to tell this little dude how much I love him all the time.

Any baby awesomeness this week? More and more movement this week, including more I can feel from the outside - too bad hubby has been gone every time! Discovered the little dude is a big fan of music yesterday - we had a dance party. Apparently Jazz and Big Band music are the leaders right now...I will now rock out with Pandora just to see if I can get him moving

@Kimmyberly26 I'm glad your mom seems to be doing better! I know how hard it is to try to get em to stay calm and take it easy during the recovery stage...
Also, I completely feel your difficulty turning over in bed. I feel like it's a big production just to turn from my left to right and vice versa, and I'm just over halfway there. It's going to get verrrry interesting over the next few months!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Thanks for asking! We had the appointment yesterday with a specialist and she sounded very hopeful there were no major issues with the baby's spine (FX). Was able to see a high tech u/s and spoke with a genetic counselor who also thought the risk is low for neural tube defects. We are continuing to pray for a healthy babe!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? I am feeling movement all of the time! Although my placenta is in the way, I definitely still feel the bumps and kicks!

I have bought way too much I need to stop, I'm addicted to shopping.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share?
I have my last cervix check on Friday where they will be doing a growth scan as well. I will then go from every 2 weeks to 4 weeks to monitor growth and if the my complete placenta previa is cleared or not. This will be at the MFM, I've been doing every 4 weeks at the OB too. I have the glucose test in 2 weeks too!

I'm really stressing over this dang placenta, move already so I can stop stressing over it!!!

I'm going to throw a party for myself on Tuesday when I officially hit V-Day, it's a milestone I've been wishing for weeks now.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Yes, but mainly onsies since most of the furniture will be hand me downs from our friends.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? RLP creeping again and strong! A little cramping at the lower abdomen this week too.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Next appointment is my glucose screening and monthly prenatal on Feb 18....not looking forward to that sugary drink!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Yes.... It is finally feeling really real so I have gotten a few small things and I am ready to start buying big things after I clean and paint his room.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I am an emotional wreck most of the time, laughing leads to crying and peeing and puking all at once, and also everything in the world makes me cry now too.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? DH felt Liam kick for the first time ever last night, it made me so happy that now he can share that amazingness with me.

Team blue! Picking a name is hopeless, though.

We started buying stuff after the as last week. Baby clothes everywhere, furniture will be delivered soon.

I can't complain about how I'm feeling. Physically, prettt damn good. Emotionally, this week has just be a reminder to enjoy and cherish every day as it comes. I'm general, I am very emotional though, and kind of cry a lot, lol. Things make me anxious. I'm managing.

I have a check-in with the dr this Thursday! And I wish I was feeling more baby movements. .. I love when I think I feel it, I'm just not sure if that's what I'm feeling!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? No but have some people give me 4 bags of clothes, pack n play, co sleeper, swing, car seat and few other things. Did start a registry!!
How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, pretty good, just sore back and hip sometimes. The sore back is more during the day and my hour commute to work. So uncomfortable to sit and drive. Burping
Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Had my 20 week US anatomy scan last Thurs, all was good, just have to go back for another US to check my placenta, it is low so she wants to keep an eye on it to make sure it moves up.
Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? PgAL crazy after everything that's happened.. I am doing pretty good now that I am in 2nd tri.

Thanks for the check-in, @kimmyberly26. My a/s was great! Viviana looks great, and my placenta has moved. I posted a longer update in the appointments thread on Friday, so I won't repeat it all here, but here's the 3D picture the doctor took

Team / Name? Pink/ Viviana, we are still working on middle name. We are leaning towards Viviana Mae and Viviana Marie.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Still no shopping yet, but I think we are feeling a ton better after yesterday's anatomy scan.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I am feeling good. I'm riding the high of the great ultrasound yesterday. She looks great, and she's pushing all around in there. H felt her for a long time last night. I don't have any appointments scheduled, but I need to call to schedule my next one sometime in February. I know the high won't last forever. The recent losses make my heart hurt, and I'm just trying to hold onto the joy from seeing Vivi yesterday for as long as I can.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
Physically very tired. I feel pressure after a few hours of work and for some reason headaches have returned

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share?
My placenta moved up thank god. Doc says if it moves up in the next ultrasound I'll be completely out of the danger zone. He said I'm off pelvic rest so woohoo for that, lol. I went home and jumped on hubby as soon as my girls were asleep

My SIL wants to throw me a baby shower and I'm not too crazy about the idea (this is my third baby but first boy). I gave in but I don't want to have baby shower drama ugh.
Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week?
Baby has been moving and kicking more. Finding out the sex really helped to lift the black cloud I've been feeling lately, he feels more real now that I know what/who he is.

My c-section is scheduled for June 6. Can't wait to see my little man! Trying to convince DH to give baby his name.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? I actually went out today and bought some clothes from Carters.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, I'm having RLP a lot the past few days; I'm still exhausted and constipated. Emotionally, I'm really up and down. I'm sad to see how many women on this board are experiencng such sadness and loss. I've just worried and cried a lot this week.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I have my regular OB appointment on the 4th.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? This has been a bad week for me in terms of PgAL and dealing with anxiety because of what happened with my son's delivery. I've been really scared this week.

Any baby awesomeness this week? Baby's moving like crazy. I can now feel it from outside. He's quiet today, so of course I'm freaking out.

Team / Name? Blue. Two names we are currently throwing around are Henry Michael and Jacob Michael

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nothing new since last week.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Emotionally: I'm starting to worry again after all the losses on here!! It breaks my heart. DH actually wants me to stop coming on here cuz he's worried I'll start stressing too much about our little guy!!! Physically: still fighting lots of heartburn and exhaustion. New today would be the cankles that I had after working all day!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? My check up went great on thurs. His heartbeat was strong and he was moving all around while my dr was listening. And he's been active every day, I love feeling him move!! My appt and his daily movements definitely make me feel less worried!!!!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? We've got a stroller and a few cute outfits. I've done some crafting for the nursery and we've bought paint.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically exhausted. Doctor has doubled my B12 injections and increased my thyroid meds. Next OB appointment Monday. Getting close to the time when my previous loss happened, so I'm trying to be super-aware of my body and trust in this cerclage.

Team: Secret. But shhh, I'll tell you guys - it's another boy! We had our anatomy scan this week and found out we're expecting a HEALTHY (hooray!) boy #2. We aren't telling friends and family (claiming we don't know) because I don't want to hear anything less than thrilled reactions. I have LOVED being a mom to a little boy and am so excited I get to do it all over again! (Sooo many people I know with multiple miscarriages have kids of all the same sex - makes me wonder if there's any studies done on that.)

Got the courage to buy anything yet? I got a new bra this week because I outgrew the ones from my pregnancy with my son and it's a nursing bra...does that count?? We probably won't buy anything since we're likely moving this summer!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Emotionally, SO good. Finally let myself start thinking about things like NAMING this child! Physically - not so great. Getting really sick (aka: vomiting all night) every week or so. It's crazy how different my pregnancies were from each other but are both boys! I have my 20 week check up on Tuesday.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? I had some spotting after sex a week or two ago and haven't let my husband near me since. I'm just so scared, which I hate. :-/ SO much baby movement it's ridiculous. Constantly moving and shaking his little booty in there - my 3-year-old love to feel the baby and talk to him.

QOTW – Where are you from? I was born in Akron, Ohio and live here again - but I've lived all over the world growing up! Thailand, Malaysia, Hawaii. It's colder here.

Yay!!! It's been such a scary thing!! And every time I thought the bleeding had stopped it came back... So here's hoping it's gone for good this time.
And hope our placentas continue to move upwards

I had a gut feeling the baby we lost was a boy too. I thought god wouldn't give me a boy after that and I had two girls. But this baby is a boy, so I guess that theory is out the window for me. Sometimes I get emotional when I think about this baby BC somehow it's now linked to the baby we lost. Again it might not have even been a boy that we lost the doc wouldn't tell me. But in my mind there's a connection. I keep praying god wouldn't let me lose two boys. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? yes small things like clothes. OMG I don't care how $$ it is, the Paddington Bear line at Baby Gap has me swooning.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically good, had a good appointment this past week. My placenta is marginal so they are going to monitor it. Moved from 12mm at 18weeks to 15mm at 22 weeks, so that's good. @sumochik - do you know how far yours is? They seem pretty confident mine will move up. Emotionally, I'm a little all over the place.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? Like so many others, the sadness on the board this week has been tough. My heart is aching for those women. I was just in their shoes a few months before this pregnancy. I know what it's like to labor/contract/birth a baby way too early. And it has me gutted for all of them and a little scared too.

Good news is baby is moving more. She's breech, so I'm getting lots of kicks way low which feels bizarre and makes me feel like I'm going to pee! But I'm thankful for the reassurance!!
