  I had mine out in July (paragard), no big deal, though I didnt think having it inserted was either. Good luck!!

  *cough cough* Thank You! Well, I had to reschedule my appointment due to the 1/2 inch of snow we got... the office closed for the day and so yeah.. So now I have to wait til Thursday 2/7... Oh well, I guess a week is better than a month or longer.

  It was really easy. A little bit of discomfort later but nbd. It was more annoying having her prod around to get the string.

  Just like the pp's stated it is really easy. My doctor even showed me mine. The only that was annoying was the mild cramping afterwards. But I took some medicine and it was gone. Good luck....

  I remember when I had it placed, I had severe cramps for about 2 or 3 hours.. It was awful, so I am hoping it is nothing like that this time around.
