Coffee Crisp is my jam, yo. My MIL used to have to travel to Toronto for work on the regular. Every time she went she brought back 1) Coffee Crisp 2) Tim Horton's Coffee and 3) Joe Fresh pj snap up onesies for DD.
I love Coffee Crisp and I wish we had it in the states! (
You have my sympathies sweetie! Coffee Crisp is the ultimate chocolate bar!!
Maybe we can work out an exchange sometime: I'll ship you cases Coffee Crisp if you send me cases of Cherry Coke (which we don't get here ( ).
I hate those bumper stickers that have the stick figure family members, and people keep adding on to them as they have more kids or a dog. Nobody gives a shit about how many cats/dogs/kids you have. I also hate those stupid "baby on board!" signs people post in their back windows. Oh! You have a baby in the car?? I will target a different vehicle with my reckless driving! Thank GOD you had that sign up.
My gay brother is marrying his SO in May and I cannot wait to witness it. I think I might cry more during his ceremony than I did at my own. If they decide to have kids, I know that they will make great daddies. Equality bitches!
Thank you dear! And congrats to him I hope the wedding is awesome!

No. Mine was awesome in the short time I had my car. Storm trooper daddy, storm trooper mommy, darth vader baby. He runs this house.
UO - I still print out my photos (even some iPhone ones) and put them in REAL albums. I think it's weird if you only have electronic photo albums.
I'm with you! I have this fear that one day the Internet will end and I won't be able to virtually share or own photos. So my walls are covered in happy memories
Hmmm, I think there are potentially different arguments going on here. An argument about equal rights is not necessarily the same as an argument over what to call it; certainly for some on either side it is the same argument but I would think for others on either side it is not. Personally, I think everyone should have equal rights but I honestly don't care what you call it. Perhaps I would feel differently if it impacted me personally in a different way, but as I said I genuinely don't care....call it the same or call it different but give equal rights and call it over.
I also liked the topic of maintaining your marriage after kids that has come up today. I think it is a natural fear but if you want your marriage (whatever kind of marriage, ha!) to be happy and are willing to make the effort, you can do it. It just does take more effort; since you have less time you have to make more effort to find time for your spouse. And really it is just as true that you have to make more effort to find time for yourself, but both are necessary. We love our children but eventually they will have lives of their own (god willing), and we are left with each other. Plus it is out of love for each other that we even wanted these kids in the first place. And as a practical matter, I find my spouse contributes much more to the household and is more helpful around the house when his needs in our marriage are met. And guess what? I feel the same. So it is all win-win.
If someone finds my point, tell me. Think I lost it.

No joke. A few weeks ago I saw a middle aged man driving a mini van with a golden retriever in the front seat and one in the middle row. On the back, they had a stick family : a mom, a dad, and two dogs. Really?! I judged and I'm not afraid to admit it.
I hate religious arguments, ranch dressing and stick figure signs...and most bumper stickers and crap like that.
I love runny eggs (esp now), and bleu cheese dressing.
I miss all the threads everyone is sick of, at least they were an entertaining read. At best, they turned into really interesting conversation before the food posts start. i also (currently) appreciate the UO's that are utterly stupid over the deep meaningful ones. that opinion changes often, though.
Speaking of bumper stickers, I saw a Mercedes with one the other day. If you drive a Mercedes, or any luxury vehicle, it should be illegal to put bumper stickers on your car. I mean come on...
@jensavicci The story about your son just brought tears to my eyes. Good for him! Sticking up for his mommies like that. THAT is what family is all about.
1. The mayo talk inspired my egg salad lunch. It was amazing.
2. I am anti chocolate mint and chocolate peanut butter. The only chocolate combo I can appreciate is chocolate caramel.
3. Marriage should not be linked to healthcare. Religion should not be linked to healthcare. Companies personal preferences should not be linked to healthcare. It should be standard and it should be for everyone.
4. Marriage should be for everyone that wants it. I can't even take people seriously who believe otherwise.

I have one of these on the back of mine. It's a magnet though. Not a sticker.
1. I agree re: Madonna. I loved her back in the day, but it's time for her to cover her tits, put away the meat curtains, take up knitting, and let the "kids" take over.
2. My UO: I'm going for an early sex determination ultrasound (elective) on Saturday. Now, I haven't been AW at all with any of my ultrasounds or doppler appointments, but you can bet your britches that I'm going to SS it up and post a thread about it on Saturday. And there will be 3D photos. I'll also post the pertinent info in the proper thread as well. If you don't like it, you are more than welcome to go fuck off over there in the corner.

I don't understand the hype over Jennifer Lawrence. She's just ok.
I think you're narrow minded and quite ignorant if you willfully don't believe in bisexuality or pansexuality. Even more so if you actually know someone who is bi/pan.
This is more of a complaint than an UO (I could be wrong though) but, Im really starting to full on hate the word gender and stereotyping the sexes. (Ex: pink is for girls, blue is for boys. Only boys do this/only girls do that.) Be original and give me a fuckin break...*eye roll*. I mean I won't push that opinion down anyone's throat (its your life and your baby right?) but it really does "grind my gears".

I like AW posts about what sex you're having. I think it's fun and exciting. An u/s pic earns bonus points, but not of your kid's junk. Don't expect any comments from me though. A love tit is all that's necessary in my opinion.

Actually, this article is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. They're really simple examples but, you get the gist.

I am 100% okay with this but be warned that I will also be expecting a reaction selfie in the thread.
I have a little rear-view mirror on my computer and am now practicing to decide which one I want to go with. There are a few good contenders.
Um, chocolate and peanut butter is amazing. I mean, WTF.
DH agrees with you. I hate it when he tries to kiss me with peanut butter breath. And I was devastated when he came home with thin mints and not some other delicious girl scout cookie.
I don't like Madonna at all and I think she is getting grotesque looking and I wish she would go away, but does anyone criticize male musicians like this?
Steven Tyler is not aging well, nor are any of the Rolling Stones. Willie Nelson is up there and Paul McCartney and Ringo Star are pretty old too. Is anyone telling them to give it up and let the younger kids take over? Madonna was huge back in her heyday just like all of them were.

Valid. Kris Kristofferson, however, should not have been on that stage at the Grammys. Train wreck.

I'm guessing her DH is a police officer with a K9 partner? If so, nice to see another police wife
@aliletz regarding you anxiety about your relationship after marriage:
I know others have said this, but I personally felt more connected to DH after DD was born that I did before. I think it made us a stronger couple and now we have this amazing sense of pride and love in our lives.
I guess my UO is ::puts on flame retardant suit:: that it drives me BSC when a woman has a child and then spends all of their energy on the child and pays no attention to their spouse. Lots of women also stop caring for themselves (let themselves go) and then wonder why their spouses are no longer attracted to them. No wonder many spouses look elsewhere when their "needs" aren't being met, and I'm not even meaning just sex. DH and I do not DTD very often but we are close in other ways. I guess this could go either way, but you get what I'm saying.
My UO is that HDBD pics should start having the chicks show their faces. What are you worried about? Paparazzi? Stalkers? You are showing your baby bump, not your vag.
Geesh. If you want your voice heard, at least have the faux kahones to show your face.
Last time I posted a picture on TB, it was one of my favorite wedding pictures, and some nutjob on my old BMB who didn't like me took the pic, reposted it on TN making fun of me, and then got a whole bunch of her nutjob friends to repost it a zillion times on my BMB mocking me and talking about how ugly I was. Every time I see that wedding picture now, I think of that.
So yeah, that's why I stopped posting pictures of myself on here.

Im in the middle on this one. I freak out that ppl are gonna steal my pics. So id rather they at least not have my face if they do. It's not just on the bump but anywhere online. But, per your request, I will show my full face more often lol I
I love runny eggs. I've been trying to avoid them (salmonella and all that) but sometimes, it's the only thing I want to eat. I love them more over rice with the yolks as gravy.
Please please tell me you're joking with this. Please.
My UO - I think people are going off the deep end with the marijuana legalization. Every day on fb I see about a million posts being like, "it's safe", "it's wonderful", etc etc. It scares me a little bit for people to feel like it's fine for others to run around stoned out of their minds, driving cars around me. I've been to The Netherlands a few times in the past couple years, and honestly, would not put myself behind the wheel of a car after eating space cake. It's not safe. If you want to use the "it's safer than alcohol" thing, go ahead, but I don't drink and drive either.
If someone goes to the grocery store, picks up a few delicious snack items (cool ranch doritos, the puffy cheesy poofs, fruity pebbles, kool aid, etc) then returns home and smokes, I have no problem with it, but people don't do that.

Is marriage equality really a UO with women in our generation? I feel like we're all just stating the obvious.

Exactly, though my generation may not be the same as everyone's here. I am sure there must be someone on this board who does not agree but it is so unpopular they won't say so.
