YI after ovulation??

So I got a yeast infection about five days after ovulation. I googled it to see if it was normal expecting to see that it was just from a lot of BDing. Most results were forums and people saying it was was their first signs of pregnancy? I had never heard of this but I couldn't believe how many results were women saying that when they got a YI after ovulation they ended up pregnant. Has anyone ever heard of this or had any experience with this happening to them?

    Yes I know it's way too early for implantation. I guess what I was trying to say was a lot of women had said that during the cycle they had a YI they had ended up pregnant. I know this is not a pregnancy sign I was just wondering if anyone had ever heard of this as I had not. I am currently 9dpo.

    There is no way to know for sure. I have only had 2 in my entire life and one happened to be the cycle I got pregnant with my daughter. BUT it was hot (july) and we were humping like rabbits....so...I'm sure that had more to do with it.

    Not getting my hopes up. We did a lot of BD and at night where I didn't get out of bed till the next morning. Right away assumed it was just from BD and was suprised to see so many saying they later found out they were pregnant. I googled YI after ovulation and that's when I saw all those posts so was just curious of the opinions of everyone on here.

    You can get yeast infections from anything.  Too much sex, lube, certain people's sperm, acidity change in the body, the wind blowing the wrong way, whatever.  

    It's dumb to rely on such a fickle 'symptom' to decide that you are pregnant.  Just pee on a stick in five days..

    Eh, these have been informative and mild answers. Put on your big girl panties (preferably in cotton, because, ya know, of the YI), and take them for what they are- good, honest answers. No one farted rainbows, but that hardly makes them rude or mean.

    As for your OP- commonality doesn't equal causality. Just because a percentage of women found out they were pregnant shortly after having a YI doesn't mean the YI has anything to do with the pregnancy. Given the percentage of women in general that have a YI at any time, it's bound to happen that some of them are about to get a BFP. Sure, it could be a side effect of pregnancy, but it's more likely that it's a side effect of having a vagina.

    I think the reason so many ppl get a YI and end up pregnant is because they are having so much sex. Sex leads to pregnancy. I personally get one if I don't pee directly after sex. Yes there are other ways to get a YI but sex is one of the more common reason. JMO
