Sorry if the "controversial" poll offended anyone--it was really just for curiosity sake. Anyone who thought it meant smoking while holding a baby, rightfully earned the title of idiot. I mean come on, seriously?! I was only bitchy to people that were bitchy to me. And I wasn't aware that I needed to introduce myself before I was allowed to join. I must have missed that rule when I signed up....

The reason we're having a problem with you is because it looks quite suspicious to come in here and the very very first thing you do, before responding to any discussions or saying, "Hi, I'm blahblahblah" is post a poll (something I also think most newbies probably don't know how to do right away) about what is undeniably an inflammatory and controversial subject. Why would you care at all about the results unless you smoke while BFing and want to know you aren't the only one? I don't really think it's cool to be so judgmental of smokers, as some people were, because it is a real addiction and I'm sure the people who do it know how bad it is and want to quit (let's hope so, anyway). So maybe that was a little uncool on our part (though the truth is, you are putting your baby at risk if you do it, and we tend to respond strongly to that). But then you come back and call us all idiots and you wonder why we're not accepting you with open arms? Hmm. Also, no one said it's a "rule" to introduce yourself. But it's odd not to. You've decided to participate in an online forum you've never been in before, and you don't even say hi? Seems fishy to me.

I'm pretty sure you can't convince me you aren't an AE, because all the signs point to it. But go ahead, skim what I've said and then use a GIF to roll your eyes at me or call me stupid.

In regards to the poll, I didn't know it was necessary to clarify it that deeply. It seemed like a pretty simple question, and I didn't think that it would ever get miscontrued like that. My apologies if it wasn't clear.

I had no clue that I was expected to introduce myself, I thought doing that poll would be kind of interesting to see. No real background for it, just thought it would be interesting. Did you ever think that maybe I would be concerned about the results not because I smoke myself, but because I am super against it? Truth is, I agree with Kellymom, which says that the benefits of breastfeeding outweigh the risks. But everyone just assumes it's because I have some "guilty concsious" or that I smoke, neither of which are true. Somewhat laughable now that I think about it.

What the whaaaaat? I avoided this poll because I don't BF and I don't smoke and then look what I miss. I'm reading all the things from now on, ALL THE THINGS!!!
