When I was pregnant with DS1, DH lost his job when I was in my third trimester. It was super tough but that lead him going back to school at night and getting the remaining hours he need to sit for his CPA. It was a long tough road but now he has his CPA and an amazing job. I really believe that he would have never pursed his CPA had he not lost his job. I only say this to say everything happens for a reason, and I keep your head up. It will work out!

Sorry love, I know right now you can't see this but everything happens for a reason. I'm a true believe of it. Right now it's awful, in the end it will all work out. You're in my thoughts
You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers!! I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all of this stress, and I hope that everything works out for the better for you and your family!
I just want to say thank you to everyone who has posted and is keeping us in their thoughts and prayers. It really does mean a lot to me. I told DH about everyone's well wishes and good vibes, and he is very grateful too. We may have dysfunction from time to time, but this group is really turning into a family, and it makes me feel good to know that there are people who have my back. I love and appreciate you all!

This is tough! My DH actually also just got laid off unexpectedly on the 2nd of Jan (happy new year, right?) Thank The Lord he got a new job quickly! Today was his second day! I pray that your husband has the same quick job find!
I am so sorry to here this! In 2008 we took a similar hit in my family and it was devastating on many levels. You will get to the other side of this...I promise. Sending you positive energy and keeping your family in my thoughts...
I'm really sorry your family's going through this. My husband was laid off in November, and it was so stressful.
He starts a new job next week though, and it's at a company he's always wanted to work for. He probably wouldn't have ever applied if he hadn't been laid off. As difficult as it was these past few months, things happen for a reason. I'm sure there is something out there for your husband, and hopefully it's something even better for him and your family. T&P! Hang in there!
Oh, gosh. I'm sorry to hear this. I hope he is able to find something quickly. I know this is not easy to imagine now, but when one door closes, another one opens - you'll see! I can't wait to see you post about your H's new job and tell us all how fabulous it is. I'm putting that positive energy out there for you and keeping your family in my thoughts.
I'm so very sorry. This has to be really scary during an already stressful time - just try to stay positive and lean on others for support. Hugs to you and your family.
I'm so sorry to read this. It's so much to deal with at once. Just take it one day or one breath at a time if needed. Praying for you, hubby and baby. You guys will come out on the other side, I promise! Exodus 33:14 says, “The Lord replied, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” You aren't alone!
