This is our fur baby Maggie. She is a 5 year old Miniature Schnauzer. We rescued her from a Schnauzer rescue group.

I can't see the photo but yay for mini schnauzers named Maggie!

  • @SarahVol131 Do you find having a male and female boxer worked out well? We are looking into getting a second and our girl LOVES other dogs but tends to like males more. Just curious about your experience.

Our situation has worked out great. We will honestly probably always have a male and a female boxer from now on. Ours are littermates though so the longest they have ever been apart is when Reily was spayed. They still puppy pile on top of each other and sleep curled up together. Rocky is also super laid back and not dominant. He lets his sister boss him around. If your female is bossy I'd go for a submissive male.

In my experience in the animal field female boxers tend to be more dominant than the males.

That's really interesting, thank you. She is the boss for sure. My brother has two big male dogs who are her boyfriends but she is definitely in charge when they're all together. It's probably a good idea to stick to a male, thanks again!

Happy to help! :) Plus, I love having a big ole goofy momma's boy dog.

  • This is my little fur baby! Her name is Molly and she is 4 yrs old. She is a Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese). I don't really have any stories about her acting weird just yet. She's always right by my side so it should be interesting when baby gets here!

I have a morkie too! So cute!
