Update: I was finally able to meet him a couple hours ago. Since then I've showered and had a nap hahaha
He is doing really well. They don't think he will need to be in the NICU for the whole two weeks. And I might just be able to hold him tomorrow! He has the chubbiest knees I have ever seen! And of course, he has his daddy's wide, flat feet and big kissable lips! He looks almost the same as DS1 did when he was born! Oh! And he is soooo soft! I love touching his little arms and belly!
I have been a mess all day. DS1 was born at 34 weeks also and had a birth defect that prevented me from holding him for almost three weeks. I was really hoping and praying for a healthy little one so I could finally hold him and take him home right away. So many times I've left the hospital without my baby. It's been very hard for me. I've spent as much time with him as I can but it's just not the same. I know I have no reason to complain since there are many moms who never get to bring their LOs home at all.
