I used to smoke. But I quit just overthrew years ago. The thought of smoking now literally makes me want to vomit a little in my mouth.

Yeah, no way. Once, we were meeting up with some friends at a restaurant and had LO with us. I didn't realize that there was a smoking section in that restaurant, and as soon as I noticed it, I told them we weren't staying. So we left, and our friends stayed. I'm sure it seemed pretty bitchy, but I didn't care. No way would I smoke while BFing.

I agree with you. There is a huge difference. But I think that both are dangerous for baby (and mom), and I could not justify smoking just because baby is not in my arms at the moment.
