I just finished her name a few minutes ago as my "snow" day project here in NC. Disregard the mess on the PNP box but all we've actually paid for in this nusery is the tree decal and the letters everything else is either my own furniture/pictures from my room growing up or the portable crib my mother kindly bought us.

ETA: actually some of the pictures I did myself when I was a kid...so yeah. except the cow- that was a wine and design treat

I will bite. These are of DS1's nursery, but we are using it for DS2 and going to make DS1 his own "big boy" room.

Edit: I plan on doing name letters right behind the crib with something to go along with the jungle theme on them.

Just started! Need to paint, we are doing a light green wall. Glider is white with off white cushion (coming in soon). Hubs is making a bookcase and I'm thinking of painting it either white with light grey or grey with light pink. Need to get a rug!

wowsa! Love the progress everyone. I have ordered our bedding set, and started on some projects like a growth ruler chart, a headband/bow holder, picked up an apothecary jar for pacifier storage and that is about it. My IL are purchasing the furniture, but we are trying to wait at least until it is painted. We have been going back and forth on paint swatches and my husband still has to put up some wainscoting. I feel like there is still so much to do!

I love seeing everyone's nurseries. We haven't done anything for this little one. We plan on moving DD into the bigger bedroom. We will need to paint her new room and paint the nursery. I've looked at bedding online for baby boy but haven't found anything that I like. Long story short........we've done NOTHING! I'm a little stressed about it.

I'm half way through moving my 'office' out of the nursery, which will be finished before this weekend (at least I keep telling myself that). We have the cribs all set up, and the bedding should get here this Friday. My DH spray painted a bin organizer shelf we already had black to match the cribs this last weekend. And I washed and organized by size all of the used clothes I purchased from a lady, but since I have no dresser or bins for the shelf unit yet, all the clothes are currently in the cribs (folded nicely). Trying to wait for the baby shower before I purchase much more, but may just break down and get the dresser and storage bins, so I can put the clothes away. I need to get on it, since I feel in another couple of weeks, I'll be so big I can't move (or won't want to :P).

@laura3462 babies r us!! It's a really new style so there is only a matching dresser out that was unfortunately too big for our little room! But I really liked the grey so I figured we would wing it.

Everything is in a big pile in the middle of the room because DH still needs to paint the walls. He is so cute preparing that room. He's painted a lamp, our bookcase and been really involved in picking out all the details.

Ours is a Jonathan Adler-inspired color palette with a bit of a travel theme. Here's the photo I used for color inspiration. We've ordered a bunch of stuff but just haven't put it all together.

My favorite piece so far is a night light that looks like an old school globe that we found at Land of Nod. I'm in love with it.

I've seen it at an antique store too.

@Hbird05 we have the little red rocker, too. Ours doesn't have the scroll detail on top, but it's exactly the same otherwise. It was my husbands.

We've got the crib and changing table set up and the room painted. I also bought two dressers and a mirror from a shabby chic consignment store. We still have crap sitting in the middle of the room waiting to be moved out, so I don't have a pic of the whole room. Just a couple items so far!

Thanks. It actually looks much brighter in the photos than it does in person. It's a softer yellow tone than what it appears.

Our rocker arrived yesterday! I was stressing but now that all the big pieces are in and the room is painted the rest will just fall into place. Don't mind hubby, he was testing out the rocker

also don't mind the missing dresser knobs.. I'm going to use different ones than came with it so didn't bother screwing them all in.

We're far from being done! My husband is still painting white designs on the bottom half of the wall. This was before he began the designs. The wall color is mint and coral (it looks bolder on the picture though).
