Hi everyone, I'd love to start getting to know you all on here - and not just by stalking! One of my New Years Resolutions is to find new hobbies and ways to relax/distress.
What do you ladies do to relax and/or de stress?
I love getting into a really good book, and when that doesn't work for me, organizing things tends to bring me some relaxation and calm (believe it or not!)
Re: GTKY: What relaxes you?
Ignoring my husband sometimes helps! Haha!
Red wine. More red wine.
Exercise (i know...I know!) Sometimes a 30 minute walk really helps.
Go for a walk on the beach with my husband and puppy. Shop. Throw on comfy clothes and read a book or watch an indie flick. Go to dinner with my sisters. Get a manicure/pedicure. Have my hair played with or get a back scratch.
But most of all, the most relaxing thing for me is laying with my husband and laughing together about all types of stupid things (things we found online - vine/youtube clips etc, tv like impractical jokers, doing overly exaggerated impressions of people/situations, taking turns pretending that we are the voice of our insanely insecure and overly excitable puppy)

IF DX 1/8/14: Tubal Issues
When I am stressed to the point of anger/anxiety/depression, I take a ridiculously long walk alone. It gives me a chance to think things through, ugly cry alone if I need it, and decide what's the beat course of action without having someone bugging me.

Oh how I wish mine had a Starbucks!! Damn! In all seriousness, you ladies are making me consider jumping in a hot shower, going to Target, and spending my afternoon reading and bumping at Starbucks. Lol!
This is me!!! Add a book to the bath with wine and I'm in heaven. If thI can keep the water hot enough, I can be in the bath for well over an hour. Once I was in for so long DH forgot I was home.
DH is pretty sweet when he know's I'm stressed out and comes to check on me and see if I need a refill :-)
Wine! add a bubble bath some candles and music and am loving it. Reading also relaxes me as well as laying on the couch and watching tv all day.
