Help! My baby shower is in two weeks. I'm having a girl and I would prefer to wear a dress but a long tunic with leggings would be fine. I'm having the hardest time finding anything. Any suggestions or pictures of what you wore/will wear?
I have to get tight fitting dresses (on the thighs) or I look like a whale, seriously. My belly already sticks out so far that the bottom of the dresses are like a foot and a half away from me.
For another shower I have coming up I am doing mint skinny jeans with a white tunic top.
I bought a comfy rayon/cotton blend scoop neck, 3/4 sleeve dress from Destination Maternity to wear to mine, but it doesn't appear to be online anymore. It was spring colored (mint green, coral and navy), has a tie-waist and is striped. It's really comfy. They have quite a few comfy dresses. I also have a simple black wrap dress from A Pea in a Pod (same store) that I wore to a christening in December and plan to wear to my friends shower next weekend.

I wore a comfy pair of maternity slacks and a nice shirt to my shower. I wanted to wear a dress but then the day of I realized I would rather just be comfortable, haha.
It's going to be freezing when I have my shower so a dress is out.
Think I am going with Black work pants and a longsleeve black top and to try and not look like I am going to a funeral.. I am going to wear a pink necklace and make a pink band with a flower to tie around my my bump to make the pink POP.
I was going to wear a pink top... but my temperature is so out of control... cold one min.. hot the other... and no one needs to see pit stains ...eh?
I bought this one too for my shower! I got it in black though. I also wore it for New Years. Free returns, but my credit card charged me $10 because Asos is a foreign company. Boooooo!
These mint pants and black top from Destination Maternity for one shower. For the other a black long maxi skirt with a layered Forrest green too and a cute jean jacket.
@mzjaybee7@joules40@MissBridg I just discovered ASOS tonight! They have so much variety for maternity dresses, and I love a lot of them. I was, however, a little skeptical considering it's a UK website. I was worried about shipping (having it shipped here, trying it on, having to ship it back if it didn't fit/I didn't like it, etc.) What have yall's experiences with them been like?

I had a short dress but I tried it on and realized I just couldn't keep my legs crossed for that long so I ran to motherhood maternity and picked up this one for my shower last weekend. I'm absolutely huge already.
@SLSchuerg They shipped my dress via UPS and it arrived super fast. They also have free shipping and returns so let's say the dress doesn't fit, you can send it back for free then order another size in the meantime.
This is a BCBG dress that I scored at Dillards. Was originally $368 and got it for $100, so felt that it was pricey but not maternity and can wear again
@MissBridg I bought the same dress for my shower! It hasn't been delivered yet, but for $24 I'm really hoping it fits! This is my first purchase from ASOS.
I have gotten quite a few dresses from there and so far I love them all!!!! Hope you have the same experience
SLSchuerg The returns are free- but I haven't had to use them. Also I received all my orders quickly....maybe within a week?
I got this one from Motherhood Maternity for my shower this upcoming weekend. I plan to pair it with a 3/4 sleeve black cardigan since it's going to be cold.
I have a dress I'm thinking of wearing, but I'll be 32 weeks at that point, and honestly comfort wins over cute at that point. If the dress doesn't fit, I'll just wear regular clothes. No stressing!

I ordered 3 dresses in 2 sizes plus maternity tights. Since the total was so high I got free expidited shipping and it only took like 2 days! I only kept one dress and one pair of tights. The return process is slower though but they keep you informed if the return as it is going through. Next time I won't use my citicard to avoid the foreign fee.

@snmetz7 That Target dress is similar to the dress I will be wearing to my shower (Motherhood Maternity)
Shower #2: no maternity clothes, but the blazer is from Target, Gap tank, Loft cords and boots.
It's been really cold and snowy here!
