There is an artist who recreates floor plans from famous TV apartments and houses and sells them on Etsy. Here is a really great article about it. I have wasted the last half hour of my life examining them. I would kill a person for some of these apartments.

As soon as I looked at this Golden Girls floor plan, I saw that its definitely incorrect (how sad is that?). They forgot Rose's bedroom, which is across the hall from the other two bedrooms. I'm not sure where they came up with that bedroom on the other side of the house (unless they used the pilot episode, which I think had 1 bedroom over on that side of the house). All the bedrooms are in that one hallway lol.

Also: They always enter their garage from the kitchen. Even though when you look at the front of the house, it totally doesn't lay out that way.

ETA: I am not ashamed of all this useless info.

This is cool! I just noticed on Monica and Rachel's apartment in Friends the closet has a big question mark in it. I wonder if he missed the sips one (episode damn auto correct) when they figured out it was just a junk closet.

I'm not even going to try to describe the position I just ended up in, trying to test this out.

I'm going to be a complete AW because I'm super excited!

I just made my first gluten free chocolate chip cookies using my own recipe and they actually turned out really well!!!

I've tried half a dozen gf cookie recipes and I wasn't a huge fan of any of them, but either I have completely forgotten what regular cookies taste like or I actually made really awesome cookies!

I'm really excited about this. The recipe still needs a bit of work, but they still taste really good and they don't have that weird gf taste that most others do.

Funny story: I normally work with infants, but they needed me to fill in with pre-k the other day. I was trying to make conversation with them as they played with play doh, so I was asking them if they had any pets. After several kids telling me about their pets I get to this one little boy. He responds by telling me that he has two dogs and what their names are, he then follows by saying "I used to have another dog, but the puppy doctor gave him medicine to make him dead". *blank, unsure looks from the rest of the children* he then proceeded to ask another child if the puppy doctor gave their dog medicine to "make it dead".

*face palm*....well that conversation backfired.

@EllyD14 do you care to share?! I've been trying to lean more toward gluten-free recently, I'd love to give those a try... I just made a pan of betty crocker brownies and it's already half gone. They were not gluten free.

Also, when my dog farts, it wakes her from her sleep. She then smells her butt. My dog smells her own farts. Definitely my kid.

RECIPE:

1.5 c gf flour mix
2/3 tsp baking powder
2/3 tsp baking soda
1/3 tsp salt
2/3 tsp xanthan gum
1/2 c packed br sugar
1/3 c wh sugar
2 eggs (or 1 egg and 1/4 cup applesauce)
1/2 c butter
vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, whatever other seasonings you like in cookies. I've never measured this.

Bake at 375° for 10-11 minutes

I make my own gf flour mixes because it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a pre-made mix. For general purpose sweets baking I like to use an almond flour blend. This recipe is a little off. It still needs perfecting, but they're still really good. Adding just a little more flour will probably fix it.

Feel free to pm with any questions regarding gf baking. I love having people to talk to about it.

@ellyd14 you can follow the toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe and just swap out the flour for almond flour (or a gf flour blend) and use gf vanilla extract. They come out great!

Someone else told me that, I tried it with a random all purpose mix I had purchased and they didn't work out too well. I'm sure if you had the right gf flour blend it might work, but almond flour doesn't taste (or bake) the same as say millet flour or tapioca flour. Even in my recipe, if I were to use a sorghum flour blend vs the almond blend it would taste different.

My friend had a psychic party today. I've seen him 5 times prior to this. He's amazing. I know there are people who are skeptical about psychics and that's completely fine. I believe in them and this psychic in particular has been very spot on about things in my life.

So today the first thing he says to me is: "You're trying to get pregnant, right?" and I nodded. He told me my grandmother (who passed in 2003) was with me and she said that I will get pregnant very soon, as soon as next month. He said he sees a baby girl.

Of course that made me happy but I also believe that things can always change. We have the power to control our future. He even says that himself. So, I'm not taking this too seriously because you never know, but it's just fun and encouraging to hear.
