Two people in the chat found out they were sisters. I thought it would be cool to see if that happens again.

I don't even know if sororities are a big thing here in Canada...I think some of our schools have them but my university did not. So pretty much all I know about sororities I learned from The House Bunny!

My school did not have frats or sororities. It took me several minutes to remember this as I started college 19 years ago. I did not realize that the Greeks were even popular with students anymore.

Actually fraternities and sororities raise millions of dollars for their respective philanthropic endeavors. They also have higher GPAs then non-Greeks on average as well as have higher graduation percentages. Greeks also have larger networking pools post college life. I am a proud member and National Council member for my sorority and I see on a daily basis all which Greek life has to offer.

I feel so blessed for all the friendships I have made both during school and since I started volunteering for my organization after graduation. When I miscarried earlier this year the outpouring of support and love I received from my sorority sisters across counter was amazing!
