Sleep training update!

Well what can I say? You ladies were right... ( not that I ever doubted you!). Remember Thursday night when my LOscreamed for 40 mins and I cried for 20? Well last night he only cried for 10 mins and tonight, yes already in bed! , he cried for maybe 3-4 mins tops! Thanks again for giving me the words of encouragement! Now let's just hope it sticks!

Awesome news! But don't be surprised if you have a few bad nights in there. My daughter likes to surprise me every once in a while. But just stick with it.

I was also surprised how easily my LO caught on. We trained at 6 months and wish we didn't wait to get so desperate! Lol Yes you may have a few bad nights here and there out of no where. For example I'm rocking my son as I type this bc he had trouble tonight. 5 mins of crying is very unusual for him now so when that happens I rock him. The next day he goes right back into falling asleep on his own. So once he has lots of practice it's ok to rock him if he's upset (in my experience). Besides, I love to rock him.

Great job with hanging in there. It's so tough but so worth it. You'll have some good nights and some not so good nights because things like teething or being sick can mess with sleep training but FX that it sticks. Hope you and your LO have some well deserved and peaceful sleep
