What should you see on first ultrasound(barely pregnant if at all!)

in 1st Trimester
So...long story short, we had sex between IUD removal and new IUD placement.  Sex on the 15th of Jan.  I had my iud placed today, thought nothing of it.  They did a urine test which was negative.  They did a vaginal ultrasound to check placement and what do we see but a large amniotic sac.  They did a blood test and I will have results Monday.  Would this be all you see this early in the game?

    I don't understand how you can see a sac but not turn a pee test positive. You can turn a pee test positive as early as 3 1/2 to 4 weeks pregnant and at that point you wouldn't even see anything on the ultrasound yet. If you had sex on the 15th you definitely wouldn't be far enough along to see a sac.

    yeah a sac isn't typically seen until closer to 5 weeks. It could be a uterine polyp but it definitely is not a embryonic sac.
