Update on daycare teacher issue

I know I originally posted about this on FB, but I just wanted to update everyone on K's daycare situation. After reading @fishybride's post about her daycare closing and having so many of y'all sympathize with me and have similar concerns/worries, I thought Id give y'all an update!

This morning was the first completely tear free drop off since his teacher left! Wednesday (the first day he went after my talk with the director about being a little more attentive/patient with him during the transition) he started crying and the same teacher that snapped at him last time came over and sat down with some blocks and K immediately stopped crying and began playing (see lady, I know my baby!). And this morning, he barely even began fussing before the other teacher came over and engaged K in playing with a classmate and he smiled and even waved bye to me!

So he is adjusting just fine and I things are going much better! I was expecting huge meltdowns both days and he surprised me, so it just goes to show how adaptable kids can be!

ETA: And I am also very happy to see that he has been so easily distracted because it makes me feel better about going to the director. I knew a little extra attention would help him, and I was right!
