Non-Toxic Baby Bath Products

Hi there...

I am looking for some new bath products for my son- shampoo, wash, lotion & diaper rash cream.. Looking for a good brand non-toxic... Have gotten a few different options from others.

Thoughts on California Baby, Baby Ganics, The Honest Co, Earth Mama Angel Baby?

I haven't used it, but my brother uses the Honest Co. products (diapers, bath products) on my niece and he raves about it!

I might recall babyganics products did not score that well. But you'll have to look up your specific products.

Edit--looked it up--looks like they have made some improvements. Might be okay. Good rule: fragrance=bad

We use weleda. we have tried California baby, seventh generation, babyganics and burts bees but weleda is the only product that my son can tolerate without drying out his skin or causing eczema.

We love Burt's Bees for bathtime and diaper cream. Also have loved every Earth Mama Angel Baby product we've used.

Dr. Bronner's for us. I used to use California Baby, but they changed their formulation and it's not as good. So we switched to Dr. Bronner's since it's very eco/body friendly and very good for our families eczema. We use it for body wash and shampoo for the kids (and sometimes for cleaning the house). We do not use lotion unless there's an eczema flare and when there is one we use an all natural product that also serves as a diaper cream. These products are CJ's BUTTer (the scents are fabulous and it's a wonderful moisturizer) and Grandma El's. We alternate during the day using Grandma El's at night and it clears up eczema and diaper rash well.

We use Baby Ganics for soap & shampoo and I love Earth Mama Angel Baby for diaper rash cream. California Baby diaper rash cream is good too and more available than EMAB.

We tried California Baby to start and it was not moisturizing enough for our dry climate (Denver). Switched to Burt's Bee's which was great, but I wanted something even more natural- we now use Every Day Shea products and they are the best yet! Smell is lovely too!

We use Bordreaux for diaper rash.

I used Earth Momma products for my belly when I was pregnant, really liked that line, but I cannot speak for the baby stuff.

We use California baby for wash. For things like diaper rash (which is very rare for us) or just even plain lotion we use Coconut Oil (pharmacy grade of course). Not sure if you're familiar but coconut oil is antibacterial, antifungal so its very versatile. I use it as a cough suppressant and I've used it to clear up pink eye. The list goes on. And I LOVE the way it smells!!

Our whole family uses Dr Bronner's, usually almond or lavender. We use Burt's Bees diaper cream for rashes.
