Pregnant after 35

Ideas to meet other moms 35+ that are expecting

Hi All,

I am 38 and expecting my first child in September.  I am looking to connect to other women in Colorado Denver/Boulder area to bounce ideas, thoughts or concerns off of.  Go out for coffee (decaf of course), walk, go to dog park etc and out and make friends.  If this sounds like you, let me know?!

I am also looking for suggestions to how to prepare-classes, groups, etc.

Erin

  • I have been wondering about the same thing. I haven't had a chance to look for myself, but I wonder if there are meetup groups for 35+ moms. You might try looking for one in your area.

  • Is there a Bump board specific to your area? For example there is a Bump Boston board. Its slow but sometimes its a place to post meet ups etc. locally.

  • Try meetup.com maybe?  There is a 35+ group where I live (Portland) though it is not super active.
  • Thanks Ladies!!  I will try Meetup.com, Yoga, etc.
  • Hi,

I actually live in Evergreen, but I am up and down the hill all the time
    :D
If you would be interested in grabbing a coffee and maybe going to a walk let me know.

  • I live in western Colorado now, but I lived in Evergreen from 2002-2009. I am 38 as well and would have loved to have been a part of this group. :)
  • I'm in the Boulder area and have a brand-new baby (I still check this board from time to time because I'm interested in issues related to having kids after 35). You can send me a private message if you're interested in arranging a get-together with other 35+ moms in Boulder.
