So I'm pretty sure I'm out, and I've already posted my story, but I need a little bit of false hope to get me through tonight before my redraw tomorrow. So I want all of your stories about hcg not doubling and everything still being ok. I want all the vanishing twin stories. I need to make myself believe for one last night that my baby could make it. I want this before I go in tomorrow and schedule my d&c.
Me: 28
DH: 34
IUD out 8/29/13 and TTC since then.
BFP 12/29/13
Bleeding 1/17/14 with LO showing 10 days smaller.
NMC 1/26/14
Continued trying every month. Began seeing RE 7/2014.
12/2/14 got first Rx for Clomid for following cycle.
12/3/14 BFP!!!
No heartbeat at 8w4d. D&C scheduled for Jan 7, 14

If HCG<1200 then doubling time of 48-72 hours. If it is between 1200 and 6000 then they look for 72-96 hours. If it is greater than 6000 then they expect it to be more than 96 hours. He also told me that he doesn't do a repeat if it is over 1200 because it is unreliable and he prefers to just do an early ultrasound instead.
That would put you in the 72-96hr window as to what would be "normal".. and, with DS1, I don't remember my numbers (I think they were ~1500-2000 range), but I know for a fact it didn't double.. not even close.. and my OB sent me for an emergency ultrasound and lo and behold we saw a heartbeat..
