I know it's not Wednesday, but I'm curious about this. I just recently deactivated my facebook account after seeing a particularly hurtful BFP post. How about you ladies? Are you on facebook?

I just blocked my first ever person due to pg/baby stuff. She was annoying during pg but just had her baby and posted 2 things one day, and then 3 the next. Baby pics with captions about how freakin' adorable he is. That was the last straw. I'd never had to block anyone before but it was actually really liberating to be like, you know what, I don't have to see that!

I go on FB frequently. Since a lot of our friends have been married 2 - 6 years a ton of them are making announcements. As soon as one of them does, I select the "hide all posts from user" option even if they're a very close friend. If I ever want to see it (and sometimes I do) I can go to their page for the updates but they don't bombard my news feed.

I have hide several people recently mostly ones with multiple kids that bitch about them then oh look have another on the way.It makes me mad. Most of them are younger /not married and it makes me upset that they have it so easy and have no idea.

I DELETED my FB 3 years ago and haven't looked back.

I was battling infertility (before the losses) and I couldn't take it anymore. Personally, it was the best thing I ever did. I know people keep it for family and what - not but, all my family is local.

I'm not slamming anyone that keeps an account, it just wasn't good for me.

At my age, most of my friends have been married 10+ years and now have older kids, so there aren't a ton of baby posts. Those posts do still sting when they happen, though, so I don't hesitate to block people who seem to be gearing up for a lot of those.

Actually, since joining TTCAL, I spend way less time on FB. This is a much more rewarding way to connect with people for me these days.

I guess I am lucky enough to be AMA in this regard... Not too many bfps in my age group. Most of my friends kids are about to graduate highschool.

Yes. Most of the time I feel numb to others posts- almost choose to look at every pg and baby post- until eventually it all hits me and I break down. FB is definitely not. Healthy thing during this time. My therapist keeps telling me to deactivate.

I am on FB regularly, more so than any other place on the internet. I haven't noticed any overly obnoxious posts that have made me want to block people or deactivate my account. I know this has to do with baby related posts-I haven't noticed much posting of BFPs or u/s pics, but I'm also AMA so that may have a lot to do with it. Every now and then I am surprised by a pregnancy/birth announcement, but nothing terrible to make me avoid FB.

Most of the fb post of babies are my infertile friends that havr made it to the other side so I don't mind those. It's just the few and far between people that I have not personally seen in over ten years and complain that piss me off but I'mslowly hiding those I ddon't really care about.
