Soo upset... Some people really suck :(

Our Nanny just dropped a bomb on us... She told us that this is her last week with us because she got a better offer. So basically she only gave us a 4 day notice -- and what am I supposed to do with LO next week?! Asides from what she did today, she was an amazing Nanny and LO loved her. We were really good to her as well but I guess at the end, it always comes down to money

I don't have time to go trough the whole interview process again, getting to know someone, and trusting someone all over again

and getting LO used to someone. I'm just so upset about this. I feel like I can't breathe. I'm so sorry, I just really needed a place to vent

What the heck? Did she ask you guys for more money and at least give you a chance to match her offer?

At the end of the day, she has to do what is best for herself, but it would have been nice for her to give you a little more notice. I'm sure she knows the process for finding childcare!

That royally sucks. So sorry. I wish she would've done the norm of giving 2 weeks notice at least. Hope you can find someone ASAP. I'd be so livid and so lost if our sitter dumped us.

Thank you guys... I appreciate your support. She didn't even give us a chance to counteroffer. She truly just dropped this bomb on us out of nowhere. Everything was going so well.
I spoke with my manager and I've worked out a temporary solution (taking some days off and working from home)... I just hope we can find someone amazing.. and soon!
