How many of you are:

Re: How many of you are:

  • I'm having a girl- had pretty bad ms and throwing up/good aversion up until week 16. Still have some residual issues but much better. I have only gained 1.5# from PP weight as of a week ago but I have time to make that up and I was Amazonian to begin with (re:muscular and medium large frame) But all in all i honestly can't say it has been horrible especially given I have lupus and hypothyroidism it has been going pretty normally (knock on wood) so I am hoping the trend continues!

  • I friend of mine is carrying a boy and was diagnosed with hypermesis (sp?) She had horrible morning sickness.

    It's a BOY

  • I had no issues with dd #1.... This little girl has been the complete opposite!

  • I thought my pregnancy with DS sucked.  This sucks way worse.  My mom keeps kidding that this one must be a girl because it's already making me miserable... hardy har har.

  • I'm still struggling with a little nausea. Some days are way worse than others. It's much more mild though. I had really bad food aversions first tri. I only ate because I had to. Didn't really let up for a while after second tri came. Head aches on and off but horrible right now. Backne like crazy. Oily hair no matter when I washed it.

    It's a BOY

  • *knock on wood* thus far I haven't had too many major issues. Minor morning sickness- never lost my cookies. Just headaches and sugar problems. But that might be more my body in general.
  • I'm having a boy and I put minor issues because compared to what I've heard, I don't have it that bad.  I had m/s (nauseous most of the day but no vomiting) from week 6-14, now have heartburn though prilosec seems to be helping and have lots of minor aches and pains and insomnia.

  • Girl. And an issue filled complicated pregnancy. But it would have been equally complicated no matter the gender and I had similar morning sickness and tiredness issues when pregnant last year with a boy.

I just don't think my body was meant to make babies. Which is a little sad since I love babies so much- but it's also pretty awesome that I live in a medically advanced society and can have a baby anyway.

  • I have acid reflux when not pregnant so that was my major ailment with DS1. Had very little MS with him. This one, DS2- none at all. I stopped drinking soda and dairy and it mostly eliminated my heartburn/reflux.

  • I have been extremely fortunate with both my pregnancies so far.  My first was a boy and this one is a girl, and there have been only minimal differences between the two.  This time I was slightly more tired in first tri (probably due more to chasing a toddler all day than to my pregnancy), slightly less nauseous, and have had no sciatic pain.  Otherwise, all is well.

  • To one person which might be a minor ache and pain to another may be a major issue. With my daughter I had Kidney Stones and now with my son I have no real issues yet....

  • SS here. Having a girl. No morning sickness or nausea at all, no cravings, no back pain, no health concerns with me or LO to date, no bursts of crying or rage.

I've had a little bit of rhinitis for several weeks now, which is mostly handled with a humidifier in my bedroom at night. I occasionally sniss, sometimes when coughing too, but not too bad. Nips were sensitive early on, and the boobs are slightly bigger, but nothing drastic yet. Some RLP, mostly when I would sneeze or cough when laying down, I can mitigate this by sitting up or pulling my legs up when I'm going to sneeze/cough. Also slight heartburn now and then, not usually too bad; when it starts earlier in the day I will take one Tums chewable or have a scoop of ice cream and that takes care of it.

It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
  • My first son no issue, this one terrible sickness first trimester into about 2 weeks the second.

  • My first pregnancy was a DREAM compared to this one with the exception of the pre-e and heartburn at the end.  It was a girl.

THIS one...severe migraines the first tri, big cysts, morning sickness out the ass (literally) until 20+ weeks and now constipation, heartburn, reflux, back pain...etc.  It's a boy and I am convinced he hates me.
  • Boy again this time and my first trimester was much more rough than it was last time.

  • Im having a baby girl. So far minor issues. Mainly my biggest problem is hip pain(im extremely petite and started out at 85lbs) But I had barely any morning sickness... my only food aversion is chicken nuggets for some reason. I cant walk very well but thats just my body structure so I dunno... Bad bad bad insomnia.. cant fall asleep till after 5am most days o.o

  • I feel like this pregnancy (girl) is harder than my first (boy), but comparatively they are both fairly easy pregnancies...especially when you consider HG, pre-eclampsia, GD, bed-rest, and other serious issues like that. The fact that this pregnancy seems harder could just be because I am more exhausted chasing a toddler around or that my body is a mess already from the first pregnancy. Hard to say!

My girl pregnancy was very easy except for being very tired and having acne. My boy pregnancies are almost identical.Daily migraines, heartburn and pubic symphysis pain. I knew my third was a boy based on the same symptoms as with my first son.
