Worried!

Hello Ladies,

I posted on here last night about getting negative results after positive ones.

This morning, I sent hubby out to grab a couple of tests. Took one and it came back with a really faint positive. Got an app at the drs early this morning so just before leaving I went to the loo and noticed that there was light red blood on the loo roll (sorry in advance if there is TMI in the next part of this post)....decided to check properly and used a tampon to just check if what I was seeing was correct, there was a pink discharge? Blood? On it.
Went to the drs, couldn't do a urine test because I had stupidly peed before going so have to go back later.
When I got back, I checked the tampon I had put in just before leaving and it had some darker red blood on it but it was mainly covered in brown discharge!
Has anyone experienced this before? So worried.
I should be 5 weeks.
I've had 2 previously miscarriages.
1st one was a partial molar pregnancy and the other I miscarried at 5 weeks 5 days.

From what I understand/know, it's normal to have some spotting. I had some pinkish spotting that freaked me out, but it turned out it was pretty normal (especially after intercourse). I've also read that brown discharge is also nothing to be concerned about. I would recommend taking out that tampon though! You don't want to have anything in there like that at all during your pregnancy, it's just safer not to.

I would suggest keeping a close eye on things and making sure they don't get worse, also pay attention to your body - if you're having pains in your abdomen, that could be cause for concern.

When you go back to your doctor, tell them about the spotting, so they can talk to you in further detail about it. In the meantime, try to stay calm, breathe and do your best to relax.

Been doing a lot of googling on this. Seems it is quite common although I have lost my pregnancy symptoms and also had the negative pregnancy tests last night do I'm not holding out much hope
