Is your LO still in an infant car seat?

Re: Is your LO still in an infant car seat?

  • @pnutg I would get a second convertible for your DHs truck. They are a pain to get in & out. I haven't switched yet mainly because I have to get 2 (& I'm hoping for a new car this spring.)

  • Still in the Keyfit 30. No plans to switch anytime soon.
  • We switched over to the convertible just after Xmas.  We got a good deal on black friday.  I was getting sick of hauling around the car seat.  He has so much more room now it is a pain to sit outside and buckle him in when its been -20 out other that that its been good.
  • Still using the infant seat here too.

  • We had a Graco SnugRide.  DD still fit weight wise, but her feet were kicking the backseat.  The convertible gives her a lot more room, but was hard to fit in the car.  I was driving a corolla and could only fit the convertible rear facing in the middle seat, otherwise our knees were in the glove box. I have a Britax Marathon.  We ended up getting a minivan this weekend to have more room.

  • heh, we're not outgrowing our infant car seat until S is 2 years old. I'm pretty sure about that one.

Yes but not for long. I like being able to strap him in indoors, as well as just bringing the whole seat in especially if he's fallen asleep, but it's just way too heavy for me to lug in and out.

I remember I switched to a convertible with DS1 when he was 6 months, so I've gotten much more use out of it this time, but DS2 is smaller, despite DS1 being a preemie lol weird!
