LM915 - How was your week? Are you still feeling good? Remember that many women have very healthy pregnancies and no sickness. You must be excited for the appointment on Friday!

dawnstar898 - Hi and how has your week been? Are you a Patriots fan? If so, I am sorry, that game blew! You must have enjoyed those few mild days before Winter decided to come back! How have you been feeling? How is the gas? Mine has been pretty horrendous. Yikes!

lindsayhilleary - How has your week been? Congrats on another beautiful ultrasound! How has the "evening sickness" been treating you? I hope it passes soon. I am 13 weeks and really starting to get over most of my aversions. Thank goodness, I thought I'd never be able to real food again!

SaranJonathan - Congrats on the beautiful NT scan! How has your week been? How was your repeat urinalysis?

J&J09 - How has your week been? are you feeling little girl kick in there? I hope that every week brings you closer to being ready for some of that big stuff, but take your time. It's hard when you've been burned before. (((HUGS))) So glad that everything is going so well!

Hi ladies! I am heading out to do some shopping with my mom today, so I will reply to everyone later this evening when I get home. Have a great day!

EDD/How many weeks/Fruit? 7-28-14, 13 weeks, so I think I am a peach!

Appts/ Updates? Had our NT scan and OB appointment last Wednesday. The ultrasound looked great, we get our full risk assessment back sometime this week. It was awesome to see the little one moving and grooving in there, though. So awesome! Next OB in 4 weeks, A/S in 6 weeks!

How are you feeling? Sooo much better! Definitely feeling some cramps and pulling in my hips lately, but I am not really nauseous and food doesn't gross me out anymore! YAY!

What are you craving? Yesterday it was Smartfood popcorn and Orangina! Got some for football snacks!

EDD/How many weeks/Fruit? 6 weeks (sweet pea)

Appts/ Updates? First appt and u/s this Friday. I'm feeling excited, hopeful, and nervous about it. The idea of walking down the hallway at my OB's office into the u/s room freaks me out since last time I did, we got bad news. I am sure I'll be a ball of nerves that day.

How are you feeling? Exhaustion and nausea have kicked in the past few days. I'm hoping it's a good sign that things are going well and the baby is growing in there.

What are you craving? Nothing yet!

QOTW: What is your favorite "chick flick?" Bonus points for PIP! Hmm, I'm not sure. I think I'm going to have to think about it and come back to this one!

Appts/ Updates? We had a great appointment last week. I'm finally excited and planning all sorts of things like classes and the nursery

How are you feeling? Pretty good. I've been very chatty which is probably driving DH nuts! But we've been having a lot of fun together lately, in and out of the bedroom

What are you craving? Cheese, any way I can get it.

EDD/How many weeks/Fruit? 7/21/14..14w...not sure what my fruit is

How are you feeling? Massive headache today. Also tired and run down from school and my 8 million jobs (ok, really 3). Highly annoyed by everything and everyone at work.

What are you craving? Yesterday I was having cravings for cinnamon rolls..you know the kind you pop out of the roll and put in the oven..I almost went to the store and bought them. So I'm sure sometime this week I'll be having those.

QOTW: What is your favorite "chick flick?" Bonus points for PIP!
Hmm..idk For some reason, Anne of Green Gables popped into my head. Me and my mom used to watch that all the time when I was little! Pretty sure most guys don't like that movie.

Yes, I did get it! It's not as good as I had hoped but it works out pretty good. I figured out how to situate it so it supports me good even though it doesn't reach my armpit like the lady in the picture. My headache is unfortunately getting worse. Dh is miserably sick, some sort of sinus thing I'm guessing, so I'm praying I don't get it or I'm totally screwed.

How are you feeling? Ok, appetite is a little better this week. Nausea is probably the same, sometimes I wake up with it and it sort of comes and goes but usually likes to really stick around at night

What are you craving? Yesterday for some reason I wanted skittles, they were so good! lol

Oh I'll be thinking of you on Friday. The first ultrasound is really nerve wracking! Especially when you associate the whole place and experience with the bad news of a loss. Just remember that this is a different pregnancy, what happened before has no bearing on what happens now. (((HUGS))) I always found nausea reassuring!

I'm a little late today. Hi SuperKim, Monday ladies and congrats @djtippietoes! Beautiful baby! EDD/How many weeks/Fruit? 28 weeks/ eggplant.....BRING ON 3RD TRI!!! Appts/ Updates? Nothing new. I'll have a check up at the end of next week when I get home. How are you feeling? Feeling okay; I found some pregnancy stretches online that are helping a little with the back pain and sore hips so that's a plus! We'll see what new aches and pains 3rd trimester brings...yippee! What are you craving? All. The. Food. QOTW: What is your favorite "chick flick?" I'm a big fan of "You've Got Mail" mandiroo – Are you still in OK? How are you feeling? Will we get a little PIP action when you finish the curtains and bedding? I am in awe of your skill! I'm in OK until next Tuesday, then it's back home until sometime this summer. Of course you'll get some PIP action of the nursery! However, I don't expect that to be for quite some time. Still need to order furniture and all that fun stuff. Appts/ Updates? Had our first u/s last week which went well. We have another next week and so excited to see some little arms and legs wiggling.

How are you feeling? 100% exhausted! I can't seem to make it through the day without a decent nap. Work has been rough since no naps are allowed. Lol

What are you craving? Breads: waffles, toast or muffins and milk

Oh no! I'm sorry about the headache. Have you tried Tylenol at all? I hope it's not a sinus thing. Those suck! I also loved Ann of Green Gables. I always wanted to go to Prince Edward Island because of that movie. I also love those cinnamon rolls, or at least I love the icing!

Hello everyone. Hoping to stick around for a while.

EDD/How many weeks/Fruit? 12 weeks. A plum!

Appts/ Updates? Tomorrow 12 weeks U/s. Also some blood work. Since I had 3 mc before and heavy (really heavy) bleeding in this pregnancy I am seeing my doc every 2 weeks. He is amazing.

How are you feeling? Really nervous, stressed and exhausted. I learnt the 2 last times that my pregnancy ended in this appointment. I am not looking for a third time...

What are you craving? Tuna salad, eggs eggs and more eggs. Sushi (but this one sadly can't be fulfilled).

Haha! I love that movie. I have the best memory of going to see it with some of my girlfriends in college. The Pats game was tough. As for the gas, DH has been gone for work today so I have been happily letting it rip!

Appts/ Updates? No new appointments this week. I had OB appointment last week and found out that little girl has an occasionally irregular heart beat, which is most likely benign, but doesn't stop me from worrying.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! I love feeling her move! It still freaks me out when she is quiet. Rationally I know she needs to sleep, but it just scares me.

What are you craving? Sweets!

Thanks love! My week has been ok. I got some really bad news career-wise that has thrown me and DH for a loop, but we are coping. We are having to make some difficult decisions about what to do next and it has been stressing me out. Hopefully we will have some clarity soon. I am feeling her move a lot more now, which I love! I still haven't purchased anything else for baby girl, but that will come in time. We really don't need many big things since we saved a lot of stuff from DS. We just need the girly things now! Thanks for running this check-in and for responding to each of us personally. It really does mean a lot!

Oh no!! I'm sorry about the career news. I know that you and your DH will make the decisions that are best and find a way to move forward. I hope you do get that clarity soon.

I'm glad that your little girl is moving and shaking around in there, that must be so cool! And it's my pleasure to respond to everyone. It's cool to have an opportunity to get to know each other better!

EDD/How many weeks/Fruit?
I would have 39w today but was induced on Friday!!

Appts/ Updates?
I went in Friday for my growth scan and she hadn't grown in 2 weeks and fell below the 10% so the doc decided it was time. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I called dh to come home from work and off to the hospital we went. Checked in and on pitocin by 2pm. Personally, I am wanted meds all along and planned for an epidural ASAP. It was one of the first things I told the nurse. At 6pm, the doc broke my water and the big contractions started. Apparently, so did every other pregnant ladies labor and there was no one to get me my drugs. I labored for three more hours and by the time I got the epidural, and ready to kill anyone , I was already 8cm dilated. Once the epidural kicked in I was fully dilated but never really felt a need to push. Finally, the nurses decided to get it started. It took another 2+ of pushing and the doc decided it was time to use the vacuum. Two more contractions and she was finally out! Born 1/18/14 at 2:11am (about 12 total hours of labor/start of pitocin) and she came in at 5lbs14oz and 18in of pure cuteness!!!

How are you feeling?
I had a second degree tear and developed a huge bladder infection. No one warns you enough about the post pregnancy contractions!!! I asked for the epidural again but I'm on pain meds for the bladder infection so that helps. I'm exhausted. No one leaves you alone in the hospital. It seemed like three different people from three different departments were in the room at one time all the time. We got home today and it was very emotional. She has not been eating so we have to supplement with formula using a syringe and nipple shield. She has jaudice and has to be retested in the am at the pediatrician's office and if not improved , she has to he readmitted to the hospital. And she failed her hearing test, twice, and has to redo that next week. So it was a very emotional day! The lactation specialist was the best thing to ever happen and recommend anyone struggling to meet with one!!!

Yay for good ultrasounds! Oh yeah, I craved the bread, too. And naps are the best!! There were times when I honestly consider just turning off the lights and putting my feet up in my office for a half hour!

I labored for three more hours and by the time I got the epidural, and ready to kill anyone , I was already 8cm dilated. Once the epidural kicked in I was fully dilated but never really felt a need to push. Finally, the nurses decided to get it started. It took another 2+ of pushing and the doc decided it was time to use the vacuum. Two more contractions and she was finally out! Born 1/18/14 at 2:11am (about 12 total hours of labor/start of pitocin) and she came in at 5lbs14oz and 18in of pure cuteness!!! How are you feeling? I had a second degree tear and developed a huge bladder infection. No one warns you enough about the post pregnancy contractions!!! I asked for the epidural again but I'm on pain meds for the bladder infection so that helps. I'm exhausted. No one leaves you alone in the hospital. It seemed like three different people from three different departments were in the room at one time all the time. We got home today and it was very emotional. She has not been eating so we have to supplement with formula using a syringe and nipple shield. She has jaudice and has to be retested in the am at the pediatrician's office and if not improved , she has to he readmitted to the hospital. And she failed her hearing test, twice, and has to redo that next week. So it was a very emotional day! The lactation specialist was the best thing to ever happen and recommend anyone struggling to meet with one!!! What are you craving? My sweet little Abby, can't get enough of her!! Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations, mama, she is absolutely beautiful!!! And also, big (((HUGS))) It sounds like you have a lot going on right now. Praying that little Abby does not have to be readmitted, but if she does, I hope it's not for long. They will take wonderful care of her. @precious72381- sounds like a pretty normal labor which is good. You're right, no one tells you about after labor. I experienced similar after symptoms if you wanna call it that. People have said that it's worse when you get home but I don't remember sleeping much at all in the hospital with my son. Every 20 minutes someone's in there checking you or the baby. So frustrating! Hope that it's getting easier now that you're home and your check up goes well with the pediatrician. She's a cutie!

Appts/ Updates? Appointment today (Tuesday) and for some reason I'm really nervous again. No spotting but I had a day of bad cramps after my last appointment.

How are you feeling? Generally like crap. Seems like its something new every day. Either a headache (tired or from sinus), stomach ache from constipation and gas, tired, etc. On top of that the PGAL emotional aspect. DH and I have been fighting a lot and just in general at each others throats. I walked out of the house this morning which wasn't very mature and I've apologized but I feel like he's constantly bugging me about something.

What are you craving? Nothing really. Carbs and chocolate milk.

My DH and I fought a LOT early in this pregnancy, so I know how hard that can be. Between the anxiety and depression I was feeling, I had a hard time distinguishing what was important from what to let go, so I bitched constantly, wasnt any fun to be around, and always felt guilty. I basically wasn't picking my battles, I was choosing all of the battles!! And losing the war. I must give credit to DH - overall he was pretty darn patient. I was the combative party.

We are getting along so much better now, but for me that required a low dose of medication. I'm not saying that's what it is for you but it was for me. I was on emotional overload and it wasn't good for anyone, including out bean.

For you, It could just be the influx of hormones. You may both need to be a bit more patient with each other right now. Fx it gets better soon, my dear

SandSunBliss Thanks. I think I may have just had different expectations of him. I hoped he would understand this first tri crap more being that we have been through this before (on pregnancy #4). But apparently not. I know most of it is my fault for being sensitive and emotion and disconnected but I really need him to buck up and either be a man or just leave me alone so I can try to just bear through this period one day at a time.

Sorry for such a heavy post. I'm just really struggling today. If I see the OB today I may talk to him a bit.

Huge congrats on third tri! I'm glad the stretches are working, that's great! How is DD doing with the potty?

Thanks! Yes, the stretches have made a big difference and help with less hip pain at night which is a blessing. DD is doing surprisingly well with potty training, thank goodness! She's just having a fear of going #2. Once we get over that, we'll be doing really well!
