Any updates this week? I am starting to feel the whole "growing ahead" thing. Even though I don't quite look it yet, my belly feels like it typically does in early 3rd tri. I feel heavier and tugging and lots of flutters.
When is your next appointment? 1/28 with MFM and OB

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? hmm…I really like diet coke these days, which I know is terrible for me. And Snyders sourdough hard pretzels.

We had an appointment last week and heard the heartbeats for the first time. One baby was being a show-off, the other was hiding behind him/her. Still 2 months until our a/s. Next appointment in 3 weeks.

No weird cravings yet. Knock on wood.

Any updates this week? Finished painting the babies' room and got our new carpet!! A/S last Friday, everything looks good! Feeling flutters and it's amazing : )

When is your next appointment? Feb 6th OB and next Ultrasoud

QOTW: Craving salt and a lot of it. Pickles, olives, vinegar, etc. And apples.

How far along: 18w1d with Mono/di GIRLS!!! Team Pink!
Updates: We had a GREAT appt with the MFM. The babies looked really good and we found out that they are indeed girls. The MFM predicted at our NT scan that they were girls and it was confirmed. The ultrasound took forever because baby B was not so cooperative. We also decided that their names will likely be Angeline and Eve.

My next appt is February 7th with OB/midwife and then February 14 with MFM.

My biggest craving has been for ice water. I also have been wanting lots of protein and healthy food.

How far along are you? 34 weeks and 5 days!!! 9 days until C-section!!! Team/type? (Ex "green" / Mo-di) Team Blue, mono/di Any updates this week? Nothing crazy. Boys look really good during ultrasounds and NST. I'm more miserable than ever. My body feels 90 years old even with chiropractic adjustments. I'm so excited for delivery next week, but I am soooooo nervous about the c-section. I've never had surgery. When is your next appointment? This Friday for an exam, NST, BPP and growth check. Anyone else feel like their predicted weights are off on the small side? I swear these boys feel like 6/7 lbers each.

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? I would love steak and a strawberry sundae!

Updates: I had my first baby shower Saturday (my stepmom planned) and it was soo much fun and received alot of great gifts. While I was there my Mom, Stepdad, brother and his wife painted our nursery and put our 2 cribs and changing table together! That was nice to come home and have all of that done!!!
Having the nursery started makes it seem real! I just kept walking in there and staring at everything! It is awesome!

My next appt is Thursday!

QOTW: I haven't really had many cravings. But when I do crave something it seems to be Mcdonalds Double Cheeseburger and Fries! lol

31 weeks
Team blue di/di

Had a little freak out a few days ago, such pressure on my cervix, and was having BH every 6-10 mins. I've been so worried about pre-term labour, so I immediately lay in bed and chugged heaps of water. Next day was growth scan and saw that Baby A is 3.5lbs and Baby B is 3.11lbs, cervix at 3.5. So that brought me such relief! But, I've suddenly hit the wall and can only do such a little bit every day. But overall still feel great.

Next appt is next Thursday. Can't believe there's only a few left before babies will be here!

Cravings: consistently has been cold crunchy green grapes and ice cold water this whole pregnancy!

Any updates this week? excited to hit 24 weeks tomorrow! Found out I have marginal previa. But babies and cervix are both doing great!

When is your next appointment? Jan 16th appt with NP and US to check cervical length.

QOTW: No cravings really. Just trying to eat a lot of healthy foods to pack some pounds on these boys!

Mo/di team blue

Had fetal echos last week and everything looks great! Babies are really active, it seems like I feel them constantly. I've noticed my heart pounding a lot more, even when sitting on the couch. Anyone else? My MFM thinks it's from pumping all the extra blood. Trying to stay as active as possible but it's tough. Some days running after my 19mo old and/or doing housework is all I can manage!

Next appt is a week from Friday with MFM for growth scan. I feel like I live at my MFM's office.

I have been craving gummy bears, berries, choc ice cream with bananas or berries and cherries and nuts! Yummm....

Any updates this week? Not much new. Sitting in my 2x/wk NST hoping the babies hurry up and cooperate so I can pick DS up in time!

When is your next appointment? Another NST Friday and the big growth scan 1/28 that will tell us if baby B has caught up in growth or if we will deliver early.

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings?
Meat. Most of this pregnancy I have wanted burgers and steak. Good news is my iron levels are excellent

Updates this week? I can't believe I'm 30+ weeks! It's crazy! When you're in the early stages, you never think you'll make it this far. Let's see. Right know I'm trying everything in the book (well, on spinningbabies.com) to get my girl (Baby A) to turn vertex from breech to try to have a shot at a vaginal delivery. My doc told me last week that he would be "surprised" if she turns at this point because they are running out of space and I really, really want him to be wrong (just about this, not about anything else.. he's wonderful!). Otherwise, doing well and feeling much better than I thought I'd be feeling at 30 weeks!!!

When is your next appointment? In two hours! I've been doing monthly MFM growth scans and the next is this afternoon, so I'm really excited to see how much they have gained since mid-December. Along with the excitement, these appointments always make me feel quite nervous. Like at any minute they could tell you something is wrong.

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? I had a serious meat/fish craving for most of the pregnancy, which is very odd given that I've been a happy vegetarian for over 5 years. Lately, though, it seems to be changing a bit. I still want tuna fish. Just tuna-from-the-can-mixed-with-mayo sandwiches.

But now I've noticed that I want fruit all day long. The juicier the better. I've probably eaten an entire watermelon, two or three pineapples, and several pounds of grapes over the last week. Ha.

Any updates this week? Just playing the waiting game now.... It hurts to move for any extended period of time so I am pretty sedentary. (Which is why I have returned from my extended Bump absence). Nothing much is happening- a good thing- but I am getting so ready to get this show on the road!

When is your next appointment? I start twice weekly NSTs next week, Seeing the doctor on Thursday. Also seeing my MFM on Wednesday.

QOTW: Green apples. I have never been an apple fan, but I eat multiple a day now. Usually with peanut butter.

Any updates this week? My MFM doctor told me yesterday that she recommends that mono/di twins be delivered at 36 weeks, that's only 2 weeks away! OMG! Also, I thought my water broke this morning when my underwear was completely soaked. I cleaned up, put on a panty liner and waited a bit to see if I got any more leakage. Nope! Called the doc and she says unless there's any more fluid to not be worried. I'm pretty sure I just pissed myself! Pretty lame.

When is your next appointment? Tomorrow we have a meet and greet with a potential pediatrician! I'm out of time so if she seems good I'm just going to stick with her. We have an ultrasound on Thursday and an OB appointment on Friday! Gah! So many appointments these days!

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? Yesterday I saw a picture of a cinnamon roll in a magazine and I went crazy! It looked better than the most forbidden fruit, I almost asked DH to run to the store for a can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls! I somehow pulled through.

Any updates this week? When is your next appointment? I learned I am GD-free! Exciting news because I had it with DD1, and was borderline with DD2. So weird to pass the one-hour test and just be done with it. What a relief, though! Next appointment is Friday.

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? Early on, I craved Mexican pizzas from Taco Bell. I still prefer salty stuff and red meat to anything sweet.

I am in my 26th week. I feel like time is going so slow. I just want it to be 36 weeks already!

Team: mono-di Pink!

Updates: still working full time! Taking it easy on my days off but that is hard with a 3 year old DD. Next appointment is on the 29th for growth and TTTS check. I also need to do my glucose screen sometime in the next week or so.

QOTW: my whole pregnancy I have craved bacon. I also loved a good breakfast sandwich with bacon. Lately I have been eating more apples too.

Had my first appointment with my new ob. As I was getting undressed I noticed a little blood in my underwear and then felt a big gush

we did an u/s and the babies are fine, but I am to stay on the sofa until the bleeding stops.

24 weeks today with Di/Di Boys - yay for reaching viability week.

Had my 24 week appointment with my OB today. Quick US to check heartbeats - all looked good and baby b is now head down after being breach the whole pregnancy. Hoping he stays that way, though my doc would do a breach extraction if necessary, but this makes the plan of a vaginal delivery even better. Just hoping Baby A stays head down. Cervix looked great after some early shortening I'm still over 3 with just only 1/2 cm shortening in the last 6 weeks.

Next appt. is 2/10 with MFM for growth scan (a week late due to scheduling problems) and then 2/19 with OB.

I didn't have many cravings, mostly couldn't eat any meat for like 12 weeks. I think I crave more salty things that usual, but that's about it.

Any updates this week?
Nothing too huge! Both babies are looking about how they have for the past few weeks: absent end diastolic pressure in B's cord Doppler today, but that isn't new. We're glad there isn't reversal, and still play it by ear. Had my first NST/BPP today, which went well. We saw heart rate syncing up a lot on the NST today, which the MFM said may contribute to the absense in diastolic flow on B. Otherwise, things looked pretty good, and we're glad to be out of micro premie range with gestational age.

Next appt?
Thursday I'm going in for therapy, which is great and SO helpful. Seriously, if you think you're having problems with depression, don't be shy about getting help. It's doing wonders.
Friday I go in for another round of NST/BPPs. As much as the complications make me nervous, I do like seeing these babies as often as I do.

QOTW: Weird cravings?
It really depends on the day! I went through a milkshake phase. Now, I'm eating a lot of fruits, but I don't know if that's cravings or just eating what we have in the house. I am always thirsty!

Not really. Just feeling fortunate to be graduating from the RE on Monday and getting off all the progesterone supplements. I'm feeling good and as of my last U/S two weeks ago the babies are doing well. Already measuring nearly a week ahead.

Monday. My official transfer from the RE.

QOTW: Weird cravings?
I crave Mexican food when I'm not pregnant, so I don't think craving it now is weird. Other than wanting tacos every night, I haven't craved anything. Aversions? Completely different story.

Had an appt with MFM this week and was lucky to get in before the snow hit. Both babies are at or above 2lb so that is great news. No indication of TTTS, but Baby B is a bit smaller than A.

Any updates this week? I've been having some pain on my right side. Abdominal ultrasound showed I don't have gallstones or kidney stones. Pain is still there and is now a burning feeling down my entire right side of my abdomen. Suspected inflamed/infected gallbladder but the only test for that involves radiation and so it's not an option. Could also be adhesions from the abdominal surgery I had while pregnant with DD. Either way I am apparently not experiencing anything life threatening and I am stuck with the pain until the twins come. Joy.
When is your next appointment? Feb 10

QOTW: Any weird/funny cravings? Milk. But honestly I'm not hungry anymore, probably due to the pain, so I haven't been eating much.
