I'm sick of not having enough work to keep me busy at work. I'm someone who functions only in extremes- I'm either GO GO GO all day or I'm going to do nothing but bullshit around on TB and FB. Ugh. Guess which one I'm doing these days?

I came it to work to read the following message from my assistant: "I see that the unmanaged list is down to practically nothing which is great, BUT, I was working on a couple of those ATR’s and so there is double duty being done and you know I’m not a fan of that. Not sure why you chose to take care of it, but please communicate with me so that work that I’ve done isn’t just a waste."

If you knew how much double work she has caused me this is quite comical. Also the task I did is typically done and compelted in one sitting so I am not quite sure how she could be in the middle of processing them. Makes no damn sense. Plus she is my assistant so I am not quite sure about her tone in general. Guh Mondays!

I am so sick of my almost 3 year old not STTN and wanting in our bed every night. I have about had it and if I wasn't afraid of him waking the baby, I would consider letting him CIO.

Wtf weather? I don't want it to snow. Snow means school closings and all I want to do is snuggle with my baby on my day off, I don't feel like dealing with my 10 year old stepson who's been a complete pain in the ass with behavioral issues out the ying yang for days now. Boo to snow days!

@princessvespa1: Same girl. Drives me crazy as well. It's extremely hypocritical, she's never at work... and just the day before she sent up a "panic" email to Head Quarters then proceeded to read the latest email in her inbox which actually answered her own question and had to send up the "I'm sorry I rung the alarm" email to HQ again. Like come on lady... so I set up a meeting with my boss to discuss communication and emails coming from one central point of contact (me) so we can avoid looking like dumb asses. She got wind of that and immediately went into his office and complained that I don't respond fast enough to my emails. Well hello! I am BUSY. Plus I am working on like 7 different projects (compared to her 1/2 of a major responsibility) so I get to my emails when I can. The world didn't fall apart while you were gone for 8 weeks. It actually ran quite smooth. And for the 2 weeks she has been back it's been a constant headache. Gosh I need wine.

I work at a bank and today we are converting our entire system. Most banks are closed today, but we are here all day. The system is not ready, nothing is working, New debit cards aren't working, and our phone won't stop ringing. We can't help anyone. Wtf do we have to be here? If you weren't ready for this conversion, why did you force it? Grrrr. We are the ones taking the brunt of this crap.

Also, my idiot brother and the trashy ho he knocked up were given a baby shower by me and my mom this past weekend. Bitch didn't say thank you to anyone until I quietly mentioned that she should. She rolled her eyes and saluted me. Grrrr. Then she frowned through every gift. I wish I could show you the picture I have of it. It's really ridiculous. They were rude and ungrateful.

And now she's in the hospital likely having the baby soon. 6 weeks early. And all they can say is 'yay! I can't wait to meet her! ' they're not understanding that their daughter might not get to come right home. She will likely be in nicu, especially since baby momma couldn't be bothered to actually take care of herself throughout her pregnancy.

@kimberlymacrae sounds like she doesn't quite understand that her job is to assist you, not hinder you. I would recommend having an official meeting with her to discuss whether she understands her job description fully and whether she's comfortable working for you. At least mentioning that it's dismissal worthy behavior. At my company, if someone's riles up corporate without first discussing it with their immediate supervisor (as long as it's not a harassment issue) they would have a serious strike against them and would be given a warning. Especially if their accusations were unfounded and answers in a subsequent email. Unnecessary drama and useless waste of employee time.

@OliveMom3: I miss the days of working for private companies. This sh!t would not fly, period. But I work for the good ole' government and well... we can't fire anyone. I swear. And my boss is passive so it is really an up hill battle. I thought it was just common sense to check in with your supervisor before emails his boss's boss's boss, but what do I know? Thank you for sharing though, it at least makes me feel like I am not losing my mind and the behavior is really uncalled for. I. Hate. Drama.

That sucks. I would still sit down with her to discuss what her intentions are because she's making herself look really bad. Maybe she's trying to get fired? Can she get transferred to "assist" someone else? If you feel you haven't made progress with her, I would ask my boss for a formal meeting with her present to suggest ways forward. This behavior is even more unacceptable if her salary is paid by people's taxes.

WTF weather. I am so sick of snow and they are already talking of closing schools tomorrow. Between the weekend, the holiday today, and no school tomorrow... my kid is driving me up a wall. I'm ready for him to go back to school.

This sounds terrible, and should probably be a FFC.

Wtf car? We just put $900 worth of work into it a few weeks ago and today it started clanking while we were on a mini-road trip with the kids. Luckily we were right near a mall with a Sears auto center and the fix was cheap but the car is starting to make us nervous. It's 7 years old and our only car.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed this morning.

Despite the fact that I'm popping hydrocodone like candy taking hydrocodone as directed, I am in some SERIOUS pain. As in this hurts more than labor, delivery, and recovery.. and I had an unmedicated birth.

I'm not used to being a wuss with pain, but this makes me want to just curl up and cry on the couch until I pass out.

Ugh, that sucks horribly. My wisdom teeth were also impacted years ago, I felt like I was going crazy from the pain. Hope you feel better soon!

Ugghh I get lectured every time I see my in laws that they dont see Brody enough yet they never come to my house, I always go there. My step FIL said its my job to bring the grandkids to them. H gets one day off a week and I'm just supposed to go there every sunday? Fuck that.. they can come here

Wtf baby cold? I am so tired of you making my baby throw up. He has barely been able to hold anything down today and I am severely worried about him.

WTF chick who was suppose to watch my son but suddenly decided she doesn't know when she can handle it. I shouldn't have to track you down for you to be honest with me about this.
