Hello, I am a senior Sociology major at Maryville College and am currently writing my undergraduate thesis about Midwives in the United States. The data from this survey will be used to report on birthing options. By filling out this survey you are giving your consent to be used in this study. All participants will remain anonymous. Re: Birthing Options
For #2 you could reword it to "I have never given birth before" maybe. For #8 "Have you been present for a birth?" Does giving birth to my own children count??
For the second to last question - how many children do you have - does the baby on the way count? What if you had other children that have passed away? Are you looking for the total number of deliveries? If so, then how do you count multiples.
It can get really complicated...
