  I don't know if I agree with her, but I always thought flu shots were for the elderly. I don't understand why pregnant women should get it, I've had the flu before - it sucks, but I'm not sure what the big deal is. Off to Google I go.

  Some women opt not to get them (I didn't).  I think she should have given a little more reasoning in a post like that, but I actually have to agree with her to a point.

  I had the flu last week and it sucked. I ended up severly dehydrated and having contractions.  It was very scary.  So yes the flu sucks, but worrying that it is hurting your baby sucks more.
