TTC After a Loss

back after a bit of a hiatus

Well, Ladies, sorry to have been silent for a while. Been busy with new job and Holidays and all. I have an RE appt (finally) and am looking forward to getting some help on this journey. I just battled the flu with no sick time, and that led to pneumonia and a hospital stay. I hope all this sicky stuff is behind me, as I dont want to get told to wait. Anyway, here's to happy sticky ones for all in 2014! And continued hugs around for all of us who need them (smiles).
Any advice or questions I should bring to my appt? I am 41, we had our loss in June- he had VR a little over a year now. Have not run much of a gamut medically yet....

  • Wow! I'm sorry you were that sick! I am glad you're feeling better now though and FX the illnesses are done with you for the rest of the year!

No advice on your RE consult. Mine was just information galore & taking my medical history. Good luck!

  •  I have an RE consult in like 3 hours, and I made a little cheat sheet of things I want to discuss. Testing for AMH and FSH, ovarian reserves, aspirin, DHEA, some other stuff...so I don't go blank and be overwhelmed. I spent time this last weekend doing research on stuff to ask about and learning what some terms mean (like 'superovulation' lol).

Good luck to us both at the RE!
  • I'm glad to hear you are starting to feel better. Welcome back!
