We are all grateful for these miracle babies, but this is your chance to vent here…. What are the things that are driving you crazy right about now? It can be anything from things you’ve had to give up, discomforts, DH, work, crazy people around you, and the list goes on…. Re: **2IF Grad Check-In**
Can't wait to hear from you this week, huskermama! Good luck for a smooth delivery!
I'm 25 weeks, and doing much better this week than last. I came down with the flu and ended up in the ER on Tuesday last week. Tested positive for Influenza A, and am just now starting to feel better. DH and DS got it too, and all three of us had our flu vaccines in November. I have asthma, and the ER doctor said the combination of the pregnancy and asthma made it worse. Had my 24 week appointment on Friday, along with the glucose challenge test. Just found out that I failed the GCT by a pretty good margin (172 and the cut-off is 139 or below). Ouch! So, I am scheduled for the 3-hour GTT on Saturday morning. Scared!! I don't have a lot of self-control when it comes to food.
QOTW: I sooooo miss taking scalding hot baths. And sleeping on my stomach. And laying on my back to relax and stretch out in the evenings. And I am so aggravated that our basement finish project is still going on. We signed the contract in August, supposed to be done by October, and they are still working on it! Driving DH and I crazy! We can't really start on the nursery until they are done because the furniture in the nursery is being moved down to the basement bedroom once it's finished. So we haven't even been able to paint the nursery, much less furnish and decorate. But, they're almost done, workers just finished taping/sanding/texturing today. Just breathe....

Thank you!!
PS. I cant seem to find PAIF from the main bump page???? Will I always have to go to the check in link posted in 2IF to find this board/link ?? Im sure this is an obvious answer, lol.. TIA!
Congrats on V-Day! Yeah!!
Your situation above would hurt my feelings too. I think I've read a few posts from ladies on PAIF who have expressed having a hard time being around other ladies who have gotten pregnant, even when those ladies also went through IF. I bet some of them would have some good insight into ways you could maybe handle the delicate situation, in case you wanted to post on the main PAIF board. I'm sure your coworker is actually happy for you, she's just really unhappy about her own situation and is having a hard time getting past that. Good luck with it. You deserve to be happy at work about your hard-won pregnancy!

I never could get to it from the main page either, and eventually just saved it under my "Favorites." You can also get to it from the "Choose Another Board" section on the right. It defaults to "The Bump Message Boards" and you just hit "Go."
Congrats to you for making it here, lady!! So happy for you. From another southern momma (born and raised in GA) who went through multiple losses. Fingers and toes crossed for you to be here for the long haul!

I am 13w today! Still really nauseous at times, especially evenings, and would love for that to end. We are waiting for the results from the MaterniT21 test done on Friday. NT scan was great for measurements but my blood work was off showing an increased risk for Downs so we went ahead with this test. The risk was still pretty low, so we are very hopeful baby is healthy and are trying to use the excitement at finding out boy or girl so soon to make the next 2 weeks go by faster. We also got the news last week that DH, who has been in remission for the past 2 years, has some abnormal lymph nodes that need biopsied. We are "lucky" that this cancer is still considered very treatable, but I would hate for him to have to go through radiation again. Fingers crossed we get some good news in the next few weeks!
QOTW: I really miss having energy and just feeling good. I am feeling very guilty about not being able to play with DS as much. His favorite things are just to run around, be chased, etc and by the time we are home from work/daycare, I can't do it. DH has been great about stepping in, but I miss my time with DS. Guilty mom day here!

1.) I'm 10 weeks
2.) I'm anxiously awaiting my first appt with my OB in 2 weeks. I'm kinda nervous now that we announced so early. I felt really good after having two perfect u/s with my RE, but now I'm just really anxious to hear that hb again & get past 1st tri.
3.) Well...in the last 2 months every member of my family has had cold symptoms on & off, DD ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, DD got hand foot mouth virus at daycare, AND the icing on the cake was DD & I both coming down with the stomach flu this week. I spent all last night throwing up. I sound whiney, but it is completely unfair to have both a stomach virus & morning sickness at the same time!! I REALLY hope my family can just stay healthy for a while!
4.) Well...if I didn't sound whiney enough already, I really miss being able to eat whatever I want without feeling sick. My food aversions & nausea have been a lot worse this time around.
Had my last appointment yesterday and tomorrow is the big day! Doesn't seem real! C-section is tomorrow at noon so I will try to post an update later at night or sometime Friday.
I think everything is starting to sink in and weird to think that today is our last day as a family of 3. It was a looonnggg 4+ year road to get to this point and now that we are almost there I'm starting to realize how much things are about to change. Worried about having a newborn again, bathing, bfing, etc, etc. but my MIL assures me it is like riding a bike....hope she is right.
Thanks to all of the ladies here for all of their support and encouragement. The 2IF board was such a great outlet for me knowing I wasn't alone and there were others going through the same struggles. I will be lurking frequently to check up on everyone and wishing you all the best!

I guess what I would love is to be able to enjoy this pregnancy this morning sickness is a pain and an energy drainer. I know it will be all worth it. I would just like energy enough to maybe go get pregnancy pics done as I never did them before but I just want to sleep.
