I'm sure this has been discussed but I didn't see anything with a search. In case our detergent is making LOs break outs worse, I want to switch to something more gentle.
What do you all reccomend? Does anyone use Dreft/what do you think?
I use Dreft and love the subtle smell. It also seems to get things clean, but it's all we've used for her stuff so I don't have anything else to compare it to.
I use Tide Free & Gentle because my SIL left some behind when she was here over the summer and did my neohew's laundry. I'll probably try some cheaper detergents when it runs out.
I'd recommend tide free and gentle also, powder form. Draft has fragrance in it and you should avoid that if your lo is having problems. There is also a brand called Ecos that you can get in bulk at places like sams club that is very natural and gentle.
We use Tide Free and Gentle. We checked out various detergents but liked Tide most because it didn't have a strong scent. Dreft's scent was too strong for me.
I've been using Dreft since the start and have had no complaints. It doesn't leave any sort of scent on LO's clothes. But I will probably try one of the free & clear store brands next just to try to save some money because I am doing laundry constantly now.
We switched to Honest Co products for the baby. I prefer to know exactly what is and isn't in the products she's coming in contact with. It's amazing the chemicals that get put in some products. It's no different than Johnson & Johnson and the formaldehyde in their baby products, that weren't disclosed.
We use tide free and gentle. The only thing that bothers me is it smells like vodka in the bottle. Although my clothes have never smelled like that after being washed so maybe it's the plastic?
